First time trying this place and we like it alot! Shrimp was cooked perfectly, and fingerling potatoes with the low country boil was awesome. She crab soup was creamy and delicious and the crab stuffed mushrooms were amazing.

We enjoyed a nice dinner on the rooftop. We got the Lowcountry Shrimp Boil, the Dungeness Crab Boil, and the Alaskan Snow Crab Boil. The food was delicious and the service was great! The steam pots had plenty of food and were well seasoned. I would definitely eat here again!

The Low Country Shrimp Boil was outstanding! Not only were the shrimp large and delicious but the sausage and seasoning was perfectly done! I would definitely recommend making reservations. We sat on the rooftop and it was so nice! Parking was difficult to find but we didn’t park for free on the street as it was a Sunday.

We had the She crab soup, crab stuffed mushrooms and oysters on the half shell. My favorite out of the three were the crab stuffed mushrooms. Enjoyed the atmosphere, music and service was good as well.

Delicious seafood in the heart of Charleston, next to the market. Their crab boil is amazing and super filling. The menu is large and something for everyone. I was seated upstairs, alone, which was a bit weird for service and vibes but overall I’d come back!

Charleston Crab House is a solid, casual spot for classic seafood. The food is well prepared and satisfying, with familiar flavors done right.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it an easy place for a laid-back meal.
Overall, a reliable option for straightforward seafood in a casual setting.

The seafood was fresh but the taste was just OK. My son enjoyed the Shrimp Po’ Boy and the Seafood platter was decent size. The Steam pot was not so good.

First time going and I was not disappointed. It’s in a great location and the staff were welcoming. There was no wait time and got seated upstairs immediately. They have rooftop seating to view the downtown area which is nice. Our server was extremely nice. The menu had a lot of options and all looked good. I ordered the Low Country Shrimp Boil and it was one of the best boils I ever had. The shrimp was fresh and the garlic butter it was in was so yummy. It also came with a large corn, potatoes, and sausage. Most places slice up their sausages for boils, but I like that this restaurant didn’t. My boyfriend ordered the fried shrimp with waffle fries and I got to try it, and it was so good. Spot on with the seasoning. I did dip the fries in the garlic butter sauce from the boil and it was so good. I would definitely go back!

Service was great. The view outside and the breeze was amazing. Food was pretty good. Not the best seafood boil I’ve ever had but I will say the shrimp were big, fresh and cooked beautifully. I would definitely go back and try some other things on the menu that looked good! Parking can be a bit of a hassle, so plan to walk a bit if you don’t get lucky and find a small strip near the restaurant.
