Hadn’t got my food yet, but the service and workers are the worst, I wanted a lunch plate, they said not till 11:00 but I could order a burger 10:30 so at 1045 I went up and ordered a burger, when sit down to wait on it, then here comes the server with a lunch plate to the table behind me, I said y’all just told me not tll 11:00. I have heard about this restaurant for a long time. I finally took the time to go . I was NOT disappointed!!! The food was incredible with that chargrilled flavor. I ordered a standard burger, fries and drink. The price was very good for the quality of this meal. It tasted like what my husband and I would cook at home! So good!!! This is one of those hard to find eating establishments. I will be back.

Picture shown on the top is not indicative of where I ate? The place I went to was in the basement of the Guntersville Court house. Food was decent but the entire place had an industrial feel to it… I can’t describe it, but it was not welcoming in my opinion. Like I said the food was not bad but I would not come back every day. I guess if you’re at the Court house and want to eat it will do. People/servers were quite friendly though.

Visiting Guntersville and my family suggested Char Burger for breakfast and I’m glad they did!
Although they don’t serve the whole menu at breakfast. Breakfast was great! I got the bologna, egg and cheese biscuit and a bologna, egg and cheese sandwich. Both great but the biscuit out shines the sandwich! I’ll be back to try the burgers sometime.

They have really good breakfast, lunch buffet style or menu items. Reminded me of eating at cafeteria for lunch which was nice. It’s simple fast and prices are good. Good size portions and choices. Their grilled cheese are really good! Meatloaf was also really good. I like this place more for their breakfast than anything for sure!!

Loved this little place! We were in Guntersville all day for volleyball tournaments @ Supreme Courts & this place was very close by so we gave it a shot! Great prices, friendly staff, clean & fast service! Fried green tomatoes are a MUST @ $3.75!!! I even ordered a child’s cheeseburger, and it was more than enough for me! We will be back!

Will not go back. Stood outside the window to order at 545. Rang the bell twice and at 550 and when the girl opened the window we was told they wasn’t accepting anymore orders. Not to mention it says they close at 7pm. Very unsatisfied to be refused service as a paying customer.

The owner contacted me after I left the 1st review and made it right for me and my daughter. So went today and got the double bacon cheeseburger meals, my daughter got a cherry milkshake and I got the banana peanut butter. We was not disappointed at all.

Came here earlier this week for a quick lunch. This little hole-in-the-wall was quite popular for lunch, even later in the afternoon on a weekday. They boast both an indoor and outdoor ordering station. While known for their burgers, they also had a sort of hot bar with southern cooking (chicken livers, southern veggies, etc). You can also get milkshakes and ice cream for dessert.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. I came with a large number of coworkers; I opted for outdoor but there was room for everyone to go where they pleased.
The service was polite and welcoming. However, the woman who took my order seemed to have a hard time hearing me, which wound up ultimately creating a problem. I asked for a mushroom and Swiss burger, to which she responded, “A burger with no mustard?” And I said,”No ma’am, a mushroom and Swiss burger.” She said “got it,” in a way that suggested to me that she maybe really didn’t…and when my order was delivered to me, I wound up with a totally plain burger, but for a ton of mustard on top.
We were in a hurry and it had taken a while to get our orders out to our large party, so I didn’t figure it was worth sending back. But for this mistake, my food was yummy and I enjoyed it. The fries on the side were about average but they were hot and fresh. The burger patty was juicy and cooked well and the bun was nicely toasted.
I look forward to the opportunity to come again and actually try the mushroom and Swiss burger I was hoping for!
