Fantastic food. Great drinks! We returned several times and tried all the dishes. Watching the cooks at work while you eat is fun. They at least sometimes have live music as well. A very pleasant experience.

Wonderful atmosphere with terrific live music. Food was okay, but not anything special to come back just for that. We had the beef rib, sausage sandwich, and a melted cheese appetizer. I would have liked a more personal touch for service such as menu recommendations but they do put in the effort which is always appreciated. If you come, do it for the nice atmosphere and to say you tried a different nation’s food.

Chamuyo is the place. Personalized service attention to detail and accommodating the customer. Our group of 18 was not a challenge for this team, it was seamless. The food is bar none, in true Argentinian fashion simple and delicious. The group’s general consensus was “Yes we’ll be back”. A little gem in heart of Cabo.

Queen Victoria was spectacular. Ernesto was equally fabulous. Roger the mixologist made amazing martinis. It was our last night with our guests. We made ridiculous tourist jokes and they humoured us every time. The food was beyond delicious but the staff made the evening spectacular. A must visit while in Cabo.

I have been looking forward to getting back to this restaurant for over 8 years. Alot of updates have been done to the building and its a great atmosphere. Empanadas are fantastic. Was underwhelmed by the rest of the meal unfortunately. Wasn’t bad, just wasn’t as good as I remembered it being. Steak has a nice smokey flavor.

Chamuyo, located in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, is a popular and well-regarded Argentinian steakhouse that truly lives up to its reputation. Known for their juicy, slow-cooked meats—especially their beef ribs—Chamuyo offers a dining experience that’s both flavorful and memorable.

One of the standout aspects of this restaurant is that most of their meats are smoked overnight, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the beef ribs, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. Incredibly juicy, full of smoky, savory flavor, and so tender they practically melted in our mouths—it was easily the best beef ribs I’ve ever eaten. Every bite was a perfect combination of bold flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

The ambience at Chamuyo matches the quality of the food. The space has a modern yet rustic charm that feels cozy and authentic, complementing the traditional style of Argentinian cuisine. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a hearty meal in a comfortable and stylish setting.

Their drink selection was also top-notch, featuring a great mix of wines and cocktails that pair perfectly with their grilled meats. The service throughout the night was excellent—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which only added to the overall experience.

For anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas, Chamuyo is a top choice if you’re craving high-quality grilled meats in a warm and inviting setting. It’s a place that delivers not only on taste but on atmosphere and hospitality as well. Whether you’re a steak lover or just looking for a special night out, Chamuyo is absolutely worth a visit.

Nice restaurant for the serious meat lover with deep pockets. I found myself wishing for more vegetables as nothing we ordered came with much. It was a bit over our budget but we managed to find some affordable options and enjoyed our dinner there, seated next to a lovely old tree in the middle of the restaurant.

We went for a evening dinner on a Thursday. We were able to get reservation right away which was great. Service was amazing very attentive and glass was never empty. I ordered the sea bass it was ok. It needed a little more flavor but my husband and daughter ordered steak with shrimp and lobster and that was tasty. Steak was cooked to perfection, shrimp was delicious and lobster was perfect with the melted butter. Just because it’s Mexico prices are almost the same. So this dinner was not cheap.

They’re is always going to be THAT restaurant that you dream of eating again because you remember how wonderful the food tasted, how excellent your waiter was, and how you can still smell the wood burning to cook the ribs.

On my second time to Cabo February 2025, my husband really wanted to go to this Argentinian steakhouse. I’ve passed by so many times by this restaurant on my previous trip to Cabo and I can’t believe I’ve never been before.

We are coming back for the best ribs and steak we’ve ever had. Maybe this is the only reason why we are coming back to Cabo on July!
