We eat here frequently but tonight I got it to-go. I ordered 3 entrees and for a minute or two, only received 2 of them. Just as I was about to ask where the last one was, the clerk looked at me and assured me it was being boxed up. They were the utmost friendly on a busy night. They politely apologized even though there was really no trouble. We never have any trouble at this place and it’s always such good food. All reasons to keep coming back.

My party of 3 love, love, loved our experience at Taco Mama! No wonder their rating is so high. I had The Mayor chicken tacos with queso, my friend had the Alabama Redneck tacos and queso, and my daughter had the kid’s cheese quesadilla. We all finished our entire meals and were super happy with every bite. We ordered at the counter, made our own drinks, and our food was brought to our table quickly. The line was almost out the door when we arrived on a Saturday around 1pm, but the line moved with ease. Our meals were served with restaurant style chips (nice and light and thin), and with a very good salsa. We had options for quite a few different hot sauces, and we liked the Pete’s Sriracha added to the salsa the most to add a little heat. Overall excellent experience.

So so good. The guacamole wasn’t amazing but their plain avocado was. We got the flounder quesadilla, the grilled shrimp quesadilla, the pomegranate margarita (extra sweet). The servers were friendly and fast. I liked that this location at the time we went, wasn’t crowded or too loud.

We have visited this location many times. It’s always busy but staffed appropriately to handle their crowd. I love they offer vegetarian options. The filings are similar to other location, pick a base, add a protein, and also toppings. What makes this place unique are the sauces. The sauces brings out the flavors of your taco, burrito, etc., if you like Cilantro, you are going to love the Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette. It’s great on anything. This sauce is really offered as a dressing but it needs to be bottled up.
This go around we tried the tofu option instead of beef. No cheese, sour cream, and opted to add rice and slaw. We added the Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette and we weren’t disappointed.
The ingredients tasted fresh and with the choices of different “free” toppings and sauces its priced fairly.

I had the absolute best experience..from the host to the person who brought out my nachos! These nachos were so massive I wondered how the heck they make money on them!! Thats how piled high they are!! Such a good bang for your buck. If you go in hungry, I promise it wont be for long!!

Wouldn’t know. They close at 8:00 on Sunday – which is fine but we didn’t know so we walked in to meet a party and it was 28 degrees outside. She stood in the entryway waving her arms saying loudly, “We’re closed! We’re closed!” We got it.
We were confused. Looking to see if our party was already there and just trying to get our wits about us as the dining room was full.
It was not the service I’ve received at other locations (and I frequent them all because I love them!)
Chalk that up to a long bad day – I hope.

Best taco mama location! The cucumber margarita is so refreshing it is a must. The atmosphere is very upbeat. The food is really good as u can make any taco or burrito u want. Try the street corn!

They do a good job. I would recommend the burrito bowl as it gives you the best option for customizing your flavors. I generally prefer the steak over the chicken or ground beef. They do a really good job with catering as well. The taco bar is about the easiest thing you can do for a party of 10 or more.

Stopped by the new Taco Mama in Trace Crossings before work. Staff was super helpful and place was spotless.
We ordered the Jorge’s nachos and a build your own quesadilla. Both were excellent!! Love the option to chose your own meat and add as many toppings as you want.
Quesadilla filled with steak and onions, grilled to perfection. Outside was crisp, inside was hot and filled with cheese. Got pico and sour cream to top it with.
Chips and salsa were fresh, hot and crispy!!
Pulled pork nachos were plentiful with great flavor!
We enjoyed the night breeze in the porch to dine at. Staff was very attentive and friendly!
