Vegan Drunken Noodles and Spring rolls….the rolls were white and old….like they were sitting in the freezer for a while, definitely not made fresh. The drunken noodles were trash and I ended up sickly today from the food I ate from them last night. They were small but busy so I thought they must be good….I WAS SO WRONG.

Mama’s Thai Kitchen is 1000% better and totally worth the drive. They are supper nice and attentive as well at Mama’s Thai Kitchen. Go there instead.

What I ordered Vs what I got. This was absolutely disgusting when I asked the server about the special and asked her if it was good she said yes, so I happily ordered it when it came. It arrived cold in the center undercooked and 90% fat when I complained, she said ribeyes are fatty and still charged me for my meal. I never leave reviews, but I didn’t want anyone to have the unfortunate disadvantage of eating at this horribly disgusting restaurant. If you’re going to have pictures of food for people to order, the meal should semi resemble the photo on the menu. Please note the steak in the menu photo has almost no fat visible.

Just amazing! As a blue eyed, white girl that is always on the hunt for amazing Thai food, this has just made the list! I loved the drunken noodles!

An outstanding Thai dining experience! Excellent service from Tee and the polite Simon. The veggie rolls, yellow curry shrimp, and green curry chicken were fresh and perfectly prepared; also brought home an order of cashew chicken. We’ll be back!!

One of my favorite dining experiences ever. New to the area and finally had a chance try out Chada Thai and it is definitely my new go-to for thai food. Came in on a pretty busy evening but was seated and served promptly. I felt kinda special as the woman who served me came out from the kitchen and I was the only person in the restaurant I saw her serve. she was very sweet and even warned me when i ordered my meal thai hot, their highest spice level. I had the Massamun Curry with beef short ribs, one of the specials, and it was incredible; probably the best curry I’ve had. The spice level was perfect and flavors were wonderful. After the meal, the same woman came out and checked on me and how the meal was and how I liked the spice level, and did the same for the other tables finishing up. Overall just a great experience and I will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful dinner here! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. We celebrated a friend’s birthday and even cut his cake at the restaurant—the team kindly provided extra plates and utensils without hesitation. Their kindness and hospitality made the evening extra special. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the amazing service!

We came in about an hour before closing and were seated and given menus right away. I understand that coming in close to closing can affect service, but we still expect to be treated as valued customers.

We ordered yellow curry with chicken, red curry with shrimp, and a cucumber salad. When the food arrived, both curries were made with chicken. When we pointed this out to our server, there was no apology or offer to correct the order, which was disappointing.

The food itself was quite good, and for that reason, I would consider coming back—likely for takeout rather than dining in. I wanted to share this feedback because I believe the restaurant has a lot of potential, and with better service, it would truly elevate the overall experience.

For anyone seeking Thai food near Old Town, this is your spot! Much better than my recent visit to Malee’s and my new go-to for local thai. I ordered steamed dumplings and fresh roll with peanut sauce appetizers then pad kee mao noodles for main dish. All were great! Nice hot sauce selection too, with chili oil crunch, pepper flakes, or red spicy (and metal spoon not plastic!) Service kind, attentive, and fast. Will be back!

This place is amazing. I went for the special which includes either soup or salad. Today’s flavor was coconut chicken, which was bursting with flavor. I always get chicken pad Thai and a curry when I eat someplace new. Today I got the yellow curry, both dishes were excellent. Chada Thai, which bares it’s name from the traditional Thai headdress, adorn the walls inside. The place was nicely decorated with a lot of thought and had a very welcoming feel to it. I met one of the owners, who was very friendly, walking around talking to customers and making sure they were having a good experience. All the staff was friendly.

Update: stopped in again since I was in the area (11/16/21). Today I had the Panama curry with chicken and the boat soup with Thai beef. Both tasted delicious, and the boat soup was a huge portion.

We love Thai food and this is the first place I’ve ever not liked the food. We ordered pad Thai, egg rolls, and drunken noodles. The egg roles were bland and the sauce was not good. The pad Thai was even worse. It didn’t taste anything like pad Thai. It was like eating soy sauce noodles, but not in a good way. This place is not authentic at all. The quality is really low for how much they are charging. I wanted to try a new place, but I will be going back to Taste of Thai because this food was such a disappointment. The pictures on their Google looked good which is why we chose this place, but it was honestly laughable how bad the food actually was and it looked nothing like the restaurant pictures. Please get some authentic ingredients, it would make the food 10 times better. I give this place a -10/10.
