Cha pa’s noodle & grill

Location : 314 w 52nd st, New York, NY 10019

Price : $20- $30

️Cuisine style :authentic Vietnamese

specialties : authentic and affordable dishes. Happy hour food. Casual atmosphere. Offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

Best for: younger crowd (college students..etc) for catching up with friends

Group size : suitable for small groups

Noice level : loud but could have a conversation without an issue.

️would we go back again for more?
If I’m in near the theater district..I might .solid service nothing to complain about. The place was louder than I like.
Classic rare steak and crispy spring rolls were vey mid.
Grilled lemongrass pork chop was very good. Heard their banh mi was good too.

What we had :

– Vietnamese Crispy Spring Rolls (gluten free). $8.50
Rice paper wrapped around pork, and glass noodles, and taro.

– Classic Rare Steak Pho $13.95
thin sliced rare round steak, beef broth

– Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chop $16.95
marinated with lemongrass sauce, served with pickled veggies, fish sauce & jasmine rice

We came for a quick lunch before a matinee and it definitely comes quick! Food came in about 10 minutes or less of ordering. Portion sizes are very generous, nice plating. Chicken is very tasty, but many in the party preferred chicken breast which is unavailable, so some of the chicken was a bit tough and fatty. Overall would come again to try the pho

The food was good beef a bit hard to chew but everything else was amazing! The service was fast the hostess and waitress was great! I would definitely recommend for other people to join. Also I love how they have condiments on the table already! Chicken wings needs more flavor but still crispy and good when you put the Sriracha!

The pho was rich and comforting, with a deeply flavorful broth and perfectly tender noodles. Fresh herbs and lime added brightness, and the portions were generous. A great spot for a warm, satisfying meal.

I showed up on a Monday afternoon: I was graced with wonderful service and served the best Banh Mi that I have ever had so far in my life. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also a blessing.

The prices are not that bad at all either!

I will be returning in the future, thank you for everything!

One of my favorites. I’ve been coming here since before the pandemic. (I like to think that I’m the reason they added the grilled chicken to the pho). The food never misses. The service is polite and quick

Authentic Vietnam pho. I love the spicy beef pho and it was amazing. Recommend to spicy lovers. If you do not want to have spicy one, would recommend beef pho or chicken.

I thought the pho here was pretty good. The broth was decent enough and the meat was seasoned well. I didn’t feel rushed and I enjoyed sitting and enjoying my drink and meal without a lot of noise. The searing is cozy so I was inadvertently in other peoples conversation.

The service, however, was different. I noticed I received a short glass while others had taller glasses and then a carafe of water was left at my table
But no one else’s. Not terrible but a notice.

When I was ready to pay I was disappointed the tip was already selected for me and I was directed to just sign. I’m disappointed at the was selected for me. I wanted to give 20% as I do in other places but they chose the 18%. Not a big loss but that’s on them. I really liked the place.

Loved my pork Bahn Mi after getting some extra cilantro. Plenty of seats for lunch on a holiday Monday, lots of takeout/doordash.

Cha PAs is one of our go-to spots in Hell’s Kitchen. We’ve tried the vermicelli chicken bowl, brisket banh mi, pho, fresh rolls, papaya salad, and stir fry noodles — all fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The service is always warm and attentive, and prices are fair. A great mix of quality, authenticity, and value!
