Excellent service and even better food. We travel quite a bit and stop all over the country for Mexican cuisine. This is by far some of the best we have had. Chips, Salsa, and cheese dip were superb! Lunch menu was nice portions and taste was exceptional. We visit Cincinnati about 4 times a year and we will definitely be back!!!!

My husband, daughter, and I were in Cincinnati for a work trip. We found Don Chago on Monday and decided to give it a try! Amazing! Our server/bartender was fabulous and he even made sure to try to interact with our 7month old. I ordered a house margarita and my husband ordered a modelo. Both were great!! The salsa here was also delicious, different from other Mexican restaurants which was a nice change. My husband ordered the chorizo pollo and I got the Gorditas. They did not disappoint! We loved the food and atmosphere so much we came back on Thursday as our last dinner in town. We received the same amazing service we did when we first came. We ordered the burrito briea and El Rey burrito. Again, the food was outstanding!! Service was great and the drinks were just right. It is so choice, If you have the means, I highly recommend it!

I am from out of state and wanted something somewhat healthy but also hearty for takeout as I’m staying at a hotel! I looked on yelp and this place was among the highest rated for food in the area. It did not disappoint! I was impressed by how large the meal was and it was so so delicious! They also accommodated me on a few special requests. Most of all, they were super friendly and staff kept asking if I have been taken care of as I was waiting. I will definitely be back this week during my conference for round two!

The food here was amazing! We had amazing service from a super nice man named Ricardo! Super attentive and sweet. My husband got some tacos and they tasted soo good. I had some Birria tacos and the broth was delicious. My mom had the chorizo pollo plate per recommendation and she enjoyed her plate as well. The food is priced well for the amount of food you get. We all took some of our food home because the portions were more than we can handle! We live out of state but definately will come to visit if we visit ohio again!

I stopped by here while visiting an antique mall nearby. The inside was roomy and decorated very nicely the server was very nice as well as the employee who brought out the food. I came with a party of four and we only got one basket of chips and one bowl of salsa for all of us. They were finished quickly and we waited a good while for our food to be prepared. The chips and salsa were very good. The menu was probably one of the worst I have experienced. It is quite limited and a little too a la carte for me. Their combination plates had zero detail besides for them having a burrito, tamale, or taco, so nobody knows what’s inside or on top of them. Once the food arrived, it was pretty good and had HUGE portions. The green sauce on the burrito is spicy, be warned. The birria tacos were good but did not taste like authentic birria so I probably wouldn’t recommend that. The shrimp tacos were good as well. Some people might not like the tacos because they are made from corn tortillas but I thought they were good. No harm in trying this place.

I think I found my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food was delicious, and the server was very friendly and kind. I think her name is Jessica (not sure), but I really appreciate her warm kindness! The interior was very cool, too. I think it is one of the hidden gems!
