Nice venue for events and dinner in a classy upscale feel ambiance; service was excellent and owner tailored menu for an event in the side room and greeted guests; valet parking; would recommend the eggplant melanzane & chicken Marsala (phenomenal); pasta with vodka sauce tasted/felt more like sauce from a jar but was okay; 2 stalls in ladies’ bathroom and each had a chair in them

Came here for the first time tonight for dinner with a party of four, they offer valet parking which was great. When we got inside we we’re greeted right away by the host and seated,the dinner was amazing, our waiter knew all of the specials and always kept our drinks fresh, the owner is very friendly and courteous and checked on us several times, we ordered several appetizers and four main courses, all of the food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the blue point oysters, new zland mussels and fried calamari for appitizers all were delicious. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Prices are very responsible. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef who was very nice as well as the owner and his wife.Will definitely be back.

Sitting here right now i was hoping the food would live up to the reviews. Sadly i am so disappointed the food is below par. I could have cooked better. I feel like a starter crew made this. I dont know what went wrong. The pictures speaker for themselves. I honestly dont know what happened because this is not the quality i expected. The only thing is their own seltzer. I do not recommend here. The prices aren’t accurate because i was charged two dollars more for cake then posted. I was charged for table water as well. Ive been around reviewing restaurants for awhile i know a good one when i see one. A little rude however the server checked to see if the money was in the while it was on the table. Next time take the money holder with you then do it.

From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.
The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.
Safe to say we’ll be regulars!

I attended a private luncheon the food is excellent and the staff was amazing under a rush of near 100 people. I loved how happy the servers were, as they answered every request. This is a hands on family restaurant they care.

Wonderful delicious amazing food!! Wow, everything is so well made. From the appetizers, to dessert, nothing bad about it. Make sure to have the chocolate cake, so smooth and rich, it’ll be gone before you know it. The rack of lamb was a punch of flavor, wish there could be more vegetables, but so good
Update: food is still amazing and delicious. The cowboy steak is cooked just the way you want it and so satisfying. Love the food that comes out of the kitchen

I’m writing this review in response to a recent review by Norma Rosa – Palaguachi. 1st, I have to wonder what Cenzino she was dining at. Clearly not the one in Oakland. Your rant seems “personal”, almost like a disgruntled employee. The more perplexing question that comes to mind is, who goes back to the same restaurant 5 TIMES if the 1st experience was so aweful???? Nobody I know. Honestly, I’m calling your review straight up BS. I have eaten there many times. Had parties, referred family, friends and co-workers. Nobody has ever said any of the nonsense you’re spewing. As a customer how do you know the ages of random employees??? Typically if I’m not happy with where I’m dining, my 1st question isn’t how old are you. Maybe I’d ask “what’s your name” or “who’s the manager “. Next, body shaming a server??? Who do you think you are??? Out of curiosity…..are you flawless? Probably not! No one is. Next, I HIGHLY doubt someone was sitting at the bar smoking. I’m so disgusted by your comments, I could go on for days. Regina, your place is amazing, the food is fantastic and your staff is always on point. To anyone who reads Norma’s review; take it for what it is, nonsense! If you’re looking for a place with great atmosphere, fantastic service and amazing food this is the place to go. I will say, if you’re looking to go on the inexpensive side, this isn’t the place, but keep in mind; you get what you pay for.
