The place is smaller than I expected. Overall, the food is about a 3-star for me, but the service is very good. The shrimp and mango ceviche tasted great and was probably my favorite dish. The seafood risotto was decent and came in a large portion, though it was a bit too salty for my taste. However, the scallops pasta was a bit disappointing, the wine flavor was too strong and overpowered the dish, so there wasn’t much other flavor coming through.

Give it a 3.5 stars. Parking are on the streets with meters. The place is really small. The kitchen is small, so I believe the cooked the food ahead of time. We ordered ceviche blue cod. The cod is fresh and sauce goes well. I would have like to have chips with the ceviche. The tuna tartare was OK. It was different from what I am used to. This one came with mashed potatoe. The arugula salad was good. Nothing special. 15 bucks is a bit expensive. We also had Lomo Saltado/stir fried sirloin with onion and tomato. It came with with rice. The steak cooked perfectly med rare. The sauce goes well. I would have liked the onion to cook down more. It was too raw. The lamb stew was good, but a bit salty. The dessert was good. Not overly sweet.
Overall the food was good. The food came out fast. The people that works there are friendly and attentive.

Overall a decent experience but nothing special to write home about. To start with the good, the pisco sours are excellent, perfect cocktails. Ceviche is a 10/10, excellent flavor, great sauce, good ingredient mix. The tiradito also 10/10 excellent, same description as above and good fish. Pisco Martini was terrible, bad mouth feel and just tasted bad. The Causa was extremely bland, could barely taste anything but potato. Scallop and pasta dish was also not only bland but almost tasted bad, couldn’t finish it. The lamb was tasty and was definitely a good dish, good textures and flavors, but nothing special. I wouldn’t come back, no better than any good local peruvian spot, absolutely not worth the hype.

Oh MAN if you love seafood, you have to come here. Every single seafood dish was delicious. The ceviche with blue cod, the pupusa special with the GIANT prawn, the seafood risotto – wow. Each seafood dish was cooked to perfection, the mussels and squid were tender, the prawn was so flavorful, the flavors complemented the seafood so well.
My friend loved the lamb stew and I liked it too but I wouldn’t come here for it. The Peruvian mousse was so interesting too.
The vibe of the place was so cool – it’s a tiny restaurant and you get front row seats to the cooking action. Lots of Spanish spoken here. Cool lighting.

WOW! We are new to the area and we are so lucky to have Celeste so close! We went to celebrate our anniversary and we were very impressed. Ambience is amazing and the food was wonderful, as were the drinks. I’ve had peruvian food before and this met all standards and expectations. I’d recommend any pisco cocktail and the beef, and the ceviche was amazing.

The avocado and tuna appetizer were very tasty. The Carapulcra my friend ordered was amazing, my steamed fish was a bit plain but healthy and light. They also had very nice dessert.

Good service, good drinks, good food. Its been awhile having a pisco sour, it was great. The mezcal negroni was a slap in the face flavor wise but in a good way (if you like those spirits). I didn’t vote for the artichoke and palm ceviche but it was good, I would like to go back to have their other ceviche offerings.
The potato terrine was interesting as I’ve never had that before. Reminds me of a Japanese potato salad with a layer of filling and sauces. The entrees were very comforting. We shared and I just kept eating. The lamb stew was great and the scallops and pasta was also good even though the sauce was a little too rich for our taste. Service was nice; not too much and not too little. I think the only knock I could come up with is the lighting. I think the lighting is cool for a funky bar setting but it’s a disservice to the vibrant food on the table. Everything is washed with blue/purple light. Even those little rechargeable table lamps would help. In any case, I would definitely eat here again.

It’s such an amazing place. It’s very small, so be sure to make a reservation way in advance. The atmosphere is perfect for small groups. Cozy, warm, and elegant.

Had a casual weekday dinner here – while I came in with high expectations, I still think the food left something to be desired. The lomo saltado was really good, but not different from other Peruvian joints. The scallop and lamb that we ordered were not outstanding. Ceviche and drinks were pleasantly tasty and we were very happy with the service throughout the night. Will revisit if the menu goes through a change
