Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Gyoza was loosely filled (allowed more moisture to accumulate inside while being pan fried) and was served with a sweet sauce with no hint of chili at all. Spider roll was not impressive as softshell crab was hidden under a ton of batter and over cooked. The hibachi shrimp was bland with little flavor, but still a pleasant amount for lunch. Had difficulty with card reading machine which led to a horrific customer service experience which I will not go into anymore detail as it bothers me so much. Owner and manager had an opportunity to make it right and failed horribly. This was my first experience here. If I return I will provide an update.

Soup was cold, gyoza was burnt, food took 35 minutes to receive with few customers. Very oily! Last pic is of burnt veggies with overcooked salmon. Need a new kitchen manager and floor manager before we would go back to give them another try.

Unfortunately the bright neon blue lights ruined the entire meal- they made the majority of our party dizzy and nauseous. I can’t tell if the food wasn’t good or I just struggled eating it because I couldn’t see anything. Awful. This picture is completely unedited, showing how bizarre the lighting is. My husband asked if I ate dinner at a strip club. :X

Literally the BEST sushi restaurant. The staff is so friendly and quick to get you a seat. If you have to wait, it’s worth it! We eat there every week sometimes multiple times a week. If we don’t dine in, we get takeout. The sushi chefs are legit. They make our plates look so fancy and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are perfect for sharing 3-4 rolls with two and be stuffed. The sushi ingredients are always fresh and full of taste. They have the best spicy Mayo in town too. We tried other sushi restaurants in town, and none of them can compare to the outstanding service and food at Tokyo. There’s a reason they are packed every night of the week.

I chose the lunch Vegetable hibachi. When my food arrived it all was really dark colored and burnt pretty bad. I’m sure all nourishment was gone. I sent it back. When I received the new plate it was cooked almost as much. I ate what little bit was edible. It will be a long time before I return if ever. Our waiter was good.

The experience was horrible. I would highly suggest you to not waste your time paying for overpriced food. I was served under cooked shrimp and batter when I ordered the dynamite shrimp. Sushi was disgusting, ate one piece and was left feeling nauseous immediately after eating. Both led me to cancel rest of my order. I politely asked to cancel the order and the waitress acted like it was an inconvenience for her to cancel and that we should pay for the food we had not yet received. The food we barely touched was not compensated and they did nothing to make up for this experience. The attitude from staff was unnecessary. It was my anniversary with my husband, it was very infuriating to be treated like that on a special day. First time trying this restaurant and will NEVER be back. If the owners or manager is reading this, fix these issues.

The WORST sushi I ever had!! The shrimp and crab tasted fake. Sushi was not fresh at all. Sushi had no flavor. All of their sauces (eel sauce, spicy Mayo, white sauce) are literally watered down and taste like it! Spring rolls were terrible and tasted like grease. Server was terrible as well, appetizer came out after meal, service was slow. Presentation of food was nice but that’s the only good thing. First time trying and definitely will never come back.
