Cedar’s Mediterranean and Italian Grill

  4.5 – 683 reviews  $$ • Mediterranean restaurant

Cedar’s Grill is a Lebanese owned mom and pop casual restaurant with great Italian and Mediterranean food, and a casual atmosphere for easy conversations. Although we may not be pretty on the outside, we have been a local favorite for over a decade and hope you’ll give us a try.

Italian fare meets Lebanese at this tiny roadside cottage eatery with a popular half-pound burger.

Got the sample appetizer plate, Greek salad, and gyro. Pita bread with appetizer was cold and bland. Hummus was dry and bland. Greek salad dressing was oily and minimal flavor. Gyro was bland, but meat was good. Fries had no flavor whatsoever, salt didn’t really help either. Overall all the food was very bland and mediocre. Service was good though!

Food was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. Not pictured was a hummus appetizer with fresh pitta bread and New York style cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Wait staff was attentive and able to answer questions. Would highly recommend!!!

Wonderful first time experience…the background music was exquisite..the service I received by the tall slender gentleman was superb ..even tho he was busy with other tables he kept checking up on me …the food was absolutely delicious..the baba ganoush was creamy and tasty , the pita bread could have been a lil warmer but was good nonetheless..Ceaser salad was fresh and crisp and the salmon was cooked perfectly , accompanied by properly seasoned rice and broccoli ..

Walked in to order carryout and waited 10 minutes before I just walked out and called in my order. Ordered a gyro and a falafel sandwich. The gyro was just ok. I ordered the falafel sandwich ND it was not good at all! The falafel had so much cumin, it was unedible! I ended up throwing it out. Ate my fries and that was it. $25 down the drain, didn’t enjoy our lunch at all! This place seems more like an Italian restaurant, than mediterranean.

Edit: We dined here again last night, our waitress was very unfriendly. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day, but nowhere near as friendly as our last waitress. We left disappointed with our experience.

This little Bastrop Texas hidden gem restaurant is off of the access road to the highway. The outside looks rough but as you walk in you realize it’s clean, it’s decorated, it’s welcoming, and has great staff as well!

The service was great. This place is an older restaurant and could use some updating. The coconut shrimp tasted like it was frozen and so did the chicken from the chicken parmesan. The spaghetti sauce tasted like it was from a jar, it was very sweet.

Not the best looking on the outside. But the inside is very nice and well kept. The food was very good. Their Baba Ghanoush blew me out of the water!

Such a hidden treasure! From being warmly greeted at the door, to the servers who are attentive but not hovering, to the food that was homemade and piping hot, and to the HOMEMADE tiramisu for dessert, just wow! Thank you so much! We have been twice in the last couple of weeks and it was the same both times. This may be our new favorite place to eat in Bastrop, TX!!!
