Cattleman’s Roadhouse is a locally owned, Kentucky Proud restaurant. We are not a chain, but we do now have several locations in the surrounding area. We are just a couple of Kentucky boys serving great steaks! We pride ourselves in local buying and suppliers. When we opened our first restaurant, we scoured the state to find the best quality foods possible. Our steaks are aged 28 days, hand-cut, and are second to none in tenderness and flavor. Our burgers are Aspen Ridge All Natural Beef that is certified, humanely raised, with NEVER any antibiotics. From our locally sourced produce to our handmade desserts by Helen, we strive to serve better quality foods than other casual restaurants.

The food was very flavorful and wonderful! They have an excellent salad bar, so no matter what your food preferences are, they have something for you. I’m happy they have added more veggie choices on the menu, as well. The server was very helpful and answered questions that she had to search for the answer for just to make my decisions easier! My only issue, and this is almost every time I am there, is the greeting when you enter. The hostesses almost never smile and greet. You may feel a bit unwelcome. When you leave, they look at you and just watch with no “thank you” or “see ya next time”. I have always had a great experience with the servers, though. I will definitely be back again for the prime rib!

Staff didn’t greet us although several were standing around and a couple were braiding the others hair, no effort was made to make us feel welcome. We were there before dinner rush so this could account for the lack of a show of enthusiasm from the staff. I guess I just expected more. We have eaten several time at Cattleman’s and in the past the experience was good. I will be going back and hopefully the next time I can give a 5 star rating☹️

The food was delicious. I ordered a steak and Mac and cheese and you didn’t even need A1 sauce because the steak was so tender and flavorful I also got the unlimited salad bar and everything was fresh and delicious.

I am so glad they opened this location in Morehead. I seem to be in Morehead more these days and it’s a great place to grab dinner with family. The steaks are always cooked perfect and the service is friendly from the front door the wait staff.

I don’t know who was making my steaks but I had 3 cowboy Ribeyes due to that medium rare perfection on the flavor and melt in your mouth tenderness. I couldn’t help but get a couple corona sunrises to go with it, felt like I was back in Texas. Everything here is top notch. You won’t be disappointed if your a man looking for a steak experience!!! The picture was my second steak. Y’all keep up the great work and anytime I’m in the area I know where to go for my steak satisfaction !!!!!!

Our server was great! She took good care us, she made sure we enjoyed our meal. The salad bar was nice, plenty of fresh items. I enjoyed my sirloin steak, Deb had the pot roast and it was good too.

Returning here to find the “Sheriff” steak not quite as good as it once was. Like there was no seasoning on it at all and for the 1st time here I added A-1 sauce. The Salad Bar is Excellent and the the White Mac n Cheese good too! My server was attentive and polite and no issues there. I would return here another day if in the area to sample some more of the menu items. Would’ve given it 5 stars but the steak for the price was lacking.
