Manager understaffed the restaurant to cut costs, so we had to wait over an hour for food. Advertised all-you-can-eat fish and then refused to give us more than 3 pieces. The manager also refused to offer a discount – it seemed quite unreasonable and actually… illegal (this is the definition of false advertising). The waitress was nice and the manager’s poor planning and decisions were not her fault at all. Anyway, we’re back home after are not so filling meal (for which we were forced to pay full price) checking the fridge to see how we can fill up. Can’t say how disappointed we are with the choices of the management.

We stayed at a campground up the road and we were told they had the best pizza in town. That is a understatement! They have the best pizza from here to Chicago! We had the Lady Slipper Pizza the Bacon. Wrapped cheese sticks and the bourbon chicken wings. All wonderful! Their hand cut potato Fry’s with seasoning was wonderful as well! Chris was very informative about everything that was in our pizza the entire staff and experience was delightful.

Had an excellent blt pizza here. Dough bites were okay, a little dry and maybe better if they had butter on them. Service was friendly and good. Loved the Blake’s hard cider on tap.

I had chicken strips & fries, both were good with generous portions. Coffee was kept full & the service was pleasant My husband’s food was good too. I don’t know how the prices were because we were taken out to dinner by friends.

First time visit and was impressed with both the food and service. Ordered Onion Ring appetizer and lg 3 Topping Pizza. Both were excellent. Very happy that the Pizza was so good since we live in Ossineke and don’t have to drive to Alpena to get one. Would definitely recommend them!

Saturday June 11 around 5. pm. Me and my brother in-law stopped in. It was a quiet atmosphere nice bar and open grill. Got our drinks. Ask the friendly waitress for some of the local Alpena beer. Ordered burger and fries also a cod dinner. Took in the background music. Dinner was served, my cod dinner, had 3 pieces of light battered cod, Cole slaw, real fries and grilled veggies. I must say the chef did a great job this meal was fantastic. The best cod ever. I could not stop talking about this entire meal. Hats of to cattails. Thanks and can’t wait to visit again

my family & i had ordered pizzas, & when my boyfriend & i went to pick it up, the lady there was very very rude, swearing, & making snide comments when i had asked for extra sauce. she kept mumbling under her breath, & i asked for my receipt & she crumbled it up & threw it away & walked away. i’ve been there numerous times, & this isn’t like the service it used to be. honestly very disappointed.

My husband and I stopped here for the first time today. Staff was friendly and food was fantastic! Had the Hangover pizza and the lady slipper dip. We will definately stop here again when we return to the area!

Fiesta! Mexican Night – The Wet Burrito is a huge bargain! It is colorful, huge, and very tasty. All four in our party ordered burritos and thoroughly enjoyed them. A basket of chips and salsa is included. You can’t beat the bargain.
