This is my third or fourth time here. I got the French toast and the cafe Mexicano and my friend got the chilaquiles and hot chocolate. I would say the French toast, while delicious, is not enough food, the slices are small. I was feeling hungry after eating. The chilaquiles were spicy and delicious. I’ll come back here, but will try some of their other items. I like that they open at 7 am. Lots of people, regulars that all seem to know each other. Nice atmosphere and nice to walk the pier after eating.

The French toast is absolutely amazing! The bread is already sweet and melts in your mouth.

The abuelita hot chocolate tastes just like my grandmother’s. Authentic.

This is the go to place for brunch!

Great breakfast and lunch cafe on downtown Main Street Seal Beach. Great breakfast options. Delicious pastries. Good drinks. Laid back atmosphere. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito were great.

The food was alright, it was definitely under seasoned and missing a few things, the cappuccino was no good either and tasted watered down. The service was very subpar and the server never came back to check on me, I had to flag her down anytime I needed something. 2 stars since the waffle fries were pretty good.

Food was delicious, they accommodated our large party of 16 and the food came out fast. The Catrina burger I had was delicious, my wife had the chilaquiles and she said they were good. Overall great place with good prices, wheel chair accessible and street parking right outside.

The ratio of beans to salsa is perfect on the Huevos Ranchero – eggs sunny side up is a nice combo. The cafe del Olla comes in a up large enough to drown the Thursday sins.

Was surprised by this place. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was very good. I got the avocado toast and wife got the eggs your way. The avo toast was served on HOUSE made bread that was amazing. Flavor profile popped. Topped it was a poached eggs that was the best I have ever had. I don’t get it, but it was so good.
Wife got the poached eggs with yummy bacon and “house potatoes”, that were amazing as well. Green in color due to seasoning…flavor…oh my. Going again real soon.

Best French Toast I’ve ever had in my life! They use home made bread and dip it in a Brulee mixture before they fry it. The Chilaquiles were great and mildly spicy. The Avocado Toast with Poached egg and potatoes was also great. They marinate the thin potato slices in a green herb mixture that provides nice flavor. Everything here has a homemade touch. Great coffee too!

A “newer” local cafe I haven’t then internet because every time I come by it’s so busy. The line seems to be justified.

On a slow Tuesday morning I slipped in for a fantastic breakfast. Extending my love affair with espresso the Cafe Mexicano provided a tasty treat of espresso, milk, cinnamon and hot water.

Main course was ave what the spicy BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, egg, Verde salsa). A breakfast twist on a classic sandwich. It was also fantastic.

Service was kind. Outside of trying to deal with the long waits they sometimes have, I’ll be back again.
