First time eating at this restaurant. Had heard about it so I had to try it. They had a great selection on the menu. I ordered oxtail which was one price online and another in store. It was about 25.00.. i got it peas and rice with steamed cabbage. I also ordered a carrot juice that was 5.00. By the way that carrot juice was worth it also. Amazing. So back to this oxtail. I’m just saying I eat oxtail quite a bit and this one tasted like they put sugar in it. I wasn’t a fan at all. Nonetheless, I won’t be ordering it again.

Only the man at the register and one of the ladies that works in the evening are nice unless you’re Caribbean then they’ll treat you right. They don’t have good customer service at all and me being. Black American I know they don’t care when I say I’ll never come in here and spend my money on their food ever again!

Hands down this is the best Jamaican breakfast in south Florida that I have had.
Finally have some time off and me and the wifey just knew where we were coming for breakfast.
D AND G Jamaican restaurant. I was introduced to d and g many years ago from my jamaican friend. This was his place.
On to de food! I was in the area one day and I was like let me try their breakfast. Mannnnn…. ITS So….. it’s sooo good. Hands down the best liver. It’s so flavorful and yummy and tasty. As a Trini I legit love this!!!!
Then the festival was soft and. Ice and yummy and Soaks ups the sauce so well.
The ackee and saltfish was made just right not overwhelming salty and the same for the calalloo. They use the good stuff.
Also the provision the green fig and the sweet potato. Worth it. I love it because it taste good and I feel healthy eating it. Also dip the green fig in that liver sauce and it’s a party on your tongue.
Final remarks are the staff was pleasant and helpful. The vibes in the restaurant was calm and welcoming. finally while I sat here and enjoyed my meal. The restaurant had a Line out the door and every one left happy with their food.
Also their house drinks are really good not too sweet and full of flavor. I tried the pineapple ginger and a sorrel. It hit the spot.
I don’t know how else to say come by and try it.

This is supposed to be corn beef and cabbage with banana, I would like to know where’s the corn beef? It’s like whomever stay far and use one tin and cook, then on top of that so stingy when sharing it as if you’re not paying for it. The food definitely taste good but my goodness, now I have to go buy 4 tin ah corn beef and put inna food mi just buy, simply ridiculous.

What a Great place, Great food, everything was a delicious overload packed with flavor! I was so impressed with the service of the Staff (Pebbles) and taste of everything I ordered (fried chicken, jerk pork, Jamaican Patti, fish fritters, brown stew chicken & Jerk , Callaloo greens, chicken soup, steam vegetables, salad & rice and peas also Ginger beer and Cream soda to drink) WOW ! JUST CHECK THE PICTURE OF MY FAMILY DINNER. I went back the next morning and got their Peanut porridge which was also excellent for breakfast. YES YES YES I will be going back for more food on the regular. Thank You ladies at , D&G Restaurant, for your service the best Jamaican food in Hollywood for sure.

Ordered delivery on DoorDash ! Chicken is RAW UNDERCOOKED DANGEROUS TO EAT . Totally unacceptable this should be illegal to send out to a customer consuming your food. The flavor is also lacking very much on flavor and only 3 chickens with a dry salad and dry rice I was only able to eat the salad and rice!

I have been supporting D&G from day 1 but things have become ridiculous now. I use to buy their large goat soup for $10 until I notice on several occasions I only got two pieces of meat. This is the second time in two weeks I have purchased their Large country fried Chicken for $13 and realize they are cutting their thighs and breast in half and serving as a piece. The last I checked restaurants serve whole breast and thighs not halves. The picture shows two halves of thighs and half of breast and a small leg. Sorry but I never get this problem with Dutch Pot. I know times is hard but this is ridiculous. I see why now there is a decline in customers.

The soup is the most amazing thing I’ve ever tasted. I had a plate of curry chicken last night but it tasted so much like ginger and no other flavor. When I got home I added salt and I was able to pig out. But again hands down best soup I’ve ever had.
