I’ve been to Catch before, both in the restaurant and the bar area, and I’ve always had a great time with excellent food. My favorite dish has always been the garlic mushroom chicken — but after trying my partner’s halibut and prawn risotto this time, I’m not sure which one is my favorite anymore!
The highlight of the night was definitely our server, Bam, and another lovely staff member, Aida. They were both amazing. Bam even offered to take photos of us to make our Valentine’s celebration extra special — how sweet is that?
Catch has always been a five-star restaurant for me, which is why I’m surprised their overall rating is 4.1. It honestly doesn’t make sense to me!
The food was outstanding—every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. To top it all off, the team surprised us with a thoughtful anniversary card waiting at our table, a gesture that truly set the tone for the night.
Thank you, Catch, for making our celebration unforgettable. We’ll be back!
Thai was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. He made us feel welcome right away and took the time to explain the menu and offer great recommendations. He checked on us at just the right moments and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
It’s rare to receive service that genuinely enhances the dining experience, but Thai absolutely did that. Because of him, our visit was even more enjoyable and memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back — and we hope to be served by Thai again!
Highly recommend!
Catch Kitchen + Bar is one of the many restaurants situated right along said waters, with a hefty menu starring a variety of friendly crustaceans and fish. My family and I wanted to try most of the menu, so we ended up ordering a little bit of everything and sharing it.
If you’re after Michelin Star rated sustenance, this isn’t the place to go. But if you’re looking for good, tasty seafood that you honestly couldn’t cook on your own even if you tried, Catch is a great place to try out.
Nothing was inherently horrible, but we have definitely had better in terms of their Baked Lobster Gratin and Crab & Spinach Artichoke Dip. The salmon, chicken, pork, and fish dishes were all decent, with a special mention for how moist all the meat was (a sentiment remarked upon by everyone). The pork was the best out of the bunch.
The standout, though, was absolutely their seafood pasta with dill, which incidentally was one of their special features. I confess that I may be biased since I adore pasta. However, everyone was actively pecking away at this particular dish over any other.
Catch definitely has a rustic vibe with interesting décor, balanced out by the unbeatable views. Our server was sweet and attentive without being overbearing. It was our first time trying this restaurant, and probably won’t be our last.
If you’re not certain which eatery to swim to, get caught in Catch’s net.
Service: 10/10
Food: 3/10
The food was absolutely atrocious and it ruined the occasion for my family.
One look at the ridiculously large piece of red pepper that’s barely cooked and all this rice with no sauce to go with it tells you everything you need to know about the standards this kitchen holds themselves to.
Piece of cod was “okay” but I expected that at these prices.
The moment the food started coming I knew I made a huge mistake coming here.
If you’re coming here PLEASE don’t bother with the food. There are plenty of better options around for that.
Not recommended, and will never visit again.
