We had a great experience at Dervish in Wayne, NJ. We called for a lunch reservation just 10 minutes before arriving and even pre-ordered our food. Everything was handled perfectly. When we arrived, we were seated right away and the food was served promptly.
We ordered three lamb Adana kebabs with Shepherd salad, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Adana was incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. We finished our meal with Turkish tea and baklava, which was the perfect ending.
Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had; amazing food, excellent service, and great hospitality. Highly recommend!

My friends and I went to this amazing Turkish restaurant in Wayne NJ on route 46. We made reservations and Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the very friendly hosts. The lighting in the restaurant is very bright and the decor is modern and upbeat. The restaurant is family friendly oriented. It seems like a good place for date night. Our server Atahan was super friendly and on point. He was very attentive and he took the time to explain the entrée(s). The food was fresh and very flavorful. The non alcohol pomegranate mojito was so refreshing and delicious. The restaurant is spacious and the seating is a little close to the other table but I understand why. The parking lot is average size therefore we had to ride around for a parking space. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff was great and I would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience at Dervish! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the lemonade was incredibly refreshing. We tried the lahmacun and it was really tasty. The pide was made on a light, flaky dough, which was different than what I expected, but absolutely delicious. The kibbeh was flavorful, and the chicken was tender with just the right amount of seasoning. The desserts were also fantastic, and the mint lemonade was perfectly refreshing. Overall, everything was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back!

Dervish Turkish Restaurant – Jersey, NJ

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The place is absolutely beautiful, with every detail carefully designed. The floral decorations and lights create a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for taking amazing photos. The space inside is very large, and I really appreciated that there is plenty of room between the tables, which makes everything feel comfortable and relaxing.

The service was excellent, everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Turkish flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, and the beautifully served Turkish coffee and tea, everything was perfect.

I also loved the soft Turkish music playing in the background, which added a lovely authentic touch to the whole experience. Another great thing is the huge free parking lot, which is very convenient.

I truly adore the Turkish vibe of this place. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all perfect. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back again. ✨

Had the Dervish Combo (a mixed grill type of plate) a mint lemonade to drink, and Knafeh for dessert. Every meat on the plate was perfectly cooked and marinated well. Absolutely full of flavor.

The mint lemonade was very minty without being overwhelming. They used a blender to get the mint completely incorporated into the lemonade. Very refreshing, tart, and not too sweet.

The Knafeh came out hot and perfectly crispy. Lots of pistachio on top and the cheesy inside was beautifully melty and gooey.

The service was top notch from the food runners to the manager. They knew what you needed before you needed it and were very polite. The owner of the restaurant thanked everyone as they left, an awesome touch that shows how much he cares.

Come here.

Beautiful restaurant with great food, but the service needs improvement. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and the food was really good super flavorful and well prepared.
Unfortunately, the service was very slow. Our server barely checked on us, and we had to practically chase her down just to get what we needed. It took away from the overall experience.
I’d still come back for the food and the ambiance, but I really hope the service gets better.

We’ve tried the Dervish in Cedar Grove before and loved it — but this location is actually even better! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and served fresh bread to start.

We ordered the calf liver as a hot appetizer, followed by the mixed grill platter and onion lamb casserole as our main courses. Every dish was flavorful, tender, and authentically Turkish. For dessert, the kunefe was a showstopper — perfectly crispy, sweet, and cheesy in the best way. The Turkish tea, served on the house, wrapped up the meal beautifully.

The decor is stunning, the ambience lively yet cozy with live music in the background, and the service absolutely wonderful.

Dervish has truly mastered the art of good food and good vibes — this branch takes it to the next level! 100/100 for me
