A very conveniently located convenience store, Casey’s is not a bad one if you’re looking for a snack that’s made fresh. Better than holiday or SuperAmerica by long shot. Not quite as good as a Kwik trip but then again nothing is good as a Kwik trip. The bridge over the Seine River on Highway 8 and 95 headed north along the Minnesota side.

This station has two sites, one on either side of MN 95 at it’s northern junction with US 8. The posted price looked good so we stopped at the non-store site to fuel up. Some of the pumps had yellow bags on the nozzles but that’s not unusual for this Casey’s. The pump took my card but there was no gas. Disgusted, I crossed to the store side where a good share of the pumps also had yellow bags on them. Cars continued to enter and exit the pumps on the other side of the road.

Good food, I got a sub there for lunch today. It was pretty tasty. I think it’s nice that you can customize the food options, and order online too. Can even add store items like snacks and drinks to your online order

Definitely one of the worst gas stations I’ve ever been to. The inside is the side of a two car garage and the pumps are always either out of order or someones just sitting at one not getting gas. Today there was multiple people at the few working pumps just sitting around and one person was changing their oil at a pump. Their whole second pump area across the road is fully out of order and I doubt they’ll fix it as they haven’t fixed the slowly growing number of pumps that have had issues/been out of order for months.

I’m eating quite possibly the best sub I’ve ever eaten. Yeah it was a little slow to make but it’s pretty unreasonable to expect subway speed from a gas station. The ingredients are fresh, the bread is soft, and the meat is not lacking in amount. The girl even had an excellent order of toppings so that the wet things like pickles are in the middle to avoid sogginess in the bread.

I’ve been here twice in the past three months, and it’s the only store I’ve been in where there are more not wearing masks than there are. The rating reflects the fact that I asked the staff about it and they’re told by Casey’s corporate not to say anything. There are no visible signs to remind patrons to wear masks. Today, I confronted another customer as he stood right behind me in line talking with two guys who both walked in without masks on. The customer took his mask off to talk to them, so I had three guys within 2 ft of me while I was in line with no masks on. Casey’s must do a better job of signage or even limiting customers. This place is extremely crowded. I won’t return for a third frustrating experience.

I stopped in on my way to work one morning and the lady behind the counter started screaming in an irate manner because I did not have a mask on. She was insulting and berated me telling me I “was a horrible human being who hated my community and was trying to spread death and destruction” in her words. It was a horrible way to start my day. I have a lot of choices of gas stations/ convenience stores to stop at in the morning, I won’t make the mistake of stopping at the Taylors Falls Casey’s again in the morning. I passed 7 gas stations on my way to work oh, I will be choosing the other 6 where I don’t get yelled at buy an abusive employee.

I ordered a sandwich at 7pm as a walk in. I got a Philly cheesesteak sub. There were 2 people working on a Monday night so they were obviously short staffed but I don’t think that calls for a cold steak sandwich when you asked for it toasted or a 20 minute wait time for a 6” sub to be made. I think this place has started to go downhill after the familiar friendly faces I’ve come to see have all disappeared. Oh and when the guy making my sandwich was cutting it he wrapped it first then used his dirty knife to cut through the paper making it all gross then sliding it into the bag because he said “that’s how I was trained by the food service leader” I’m glad they’re showing them right smh.

Went in to get coffee and a donut and a rude pushy older woman working there threw a fit over the medical exemption of wearing a mask. I will no longer give this place my business and recommend to avoid it.
