We couldn’t have been happier. Our kind and gracious host not only escorted us to our room but had pre-heated it for us. A basket of free snacks awaited us! The rooms are utilitarian, but clean and very spacious. And to top it off, you get 10 percent off the most wonderful road breakfast right across the street at a place you’d probably never think to stop at. A wonderful discovery!

Doesn’t even deserve one star. All the table were dirty when we walked in, waited 15 minutes to clear 2 tables for our party, and they were taking their sweet time doing that. They picked up dishes, only wiped one table. Had to remind her to wipe the table. Did not offer water or give us silverware. Finally got to order, fiancé asked for no onion on his. Took 45 minutes (yes I kept track) to bring one plate of food. By the time I got my plate everyone in my party was done eating. And staff was rude and disrespectful to one another, while announcing to everyone there was fault it was for loosing a ticket. Never will go there again and DO NOT recommend it. Also had no to go silverware, so I took a fork.

We were here for the first time after a wedding, and had children as well as adults. They had a lower table for the children which helped. Everyone found something they enjoyed eating. We also enjoyed the beverages. If we’re ever back in the area, I’d go again.

Our waitress was so wonderful. We got into town late and went in not long before closing because they seemed to be our only option for dinner and she was so kind and accommodating. Their mashed potatoes were great and so was the Gorge burger.

My boyfriend & I stopped in for lunch May 26th 2019, around 12:30pm. I’m telling you that so the owner of the restaurant will know who was working that day. We sat in the bar & I went & asked the bartender for menus & drinks. A few minutes went by & she came & took our order. There were around 10 others drinking & eating. I went up to the bar & got our drinks just to help her out. My boyfriend ordered soup with his hamburger steak with mashed potatoes & gravy. The soup came with the meal, good thing because soup & mashed potatoes & gravy were the only edible food on the plate. His hamburger looked like it was made days before burnt dry & just gross. He didn’t want to send it back because didn’t want to make her mad. She never came back to see how everything was. I ordered french dip with swiss cheese it was so cold the cheese was hard. I sent mine back. I ate the tater tots & took sandwich to give to my dogs. Every year during hunting season my boyfriend & his buddies stop & have breakfast. NEVER AGAIN!! I’m retired now from being a server/bartender for 47 years so I know how to treat your customers. Beware folks don’t go to Cascade Inn in Cascade Locks there are many other places in that little town that have good food & service.

Went in with the family so thirsty and hungry, was told to sit, we had no water but were given menus, waited around 15mins and the waitress was in the lounge. They either need more help or better customer service. We had to leave.
