I can’t say it enough. It’s all delicious. We had breakfast here on our vacation and we’re so glad that it’s was so good. Recommend to come here for Amazing Mexican food. STAFF WAS VERY KIND AND FRIENDLY. ESTABLISHMENT IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO CLEAN. DEFINITELY COMING BACK. IF YOU COME HERE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Go in and sit down it’s great food at a great price. Friendly staff. Do not order to go. They have NEVER ONCE made my food right. Not once. I have been going for a long time. I learned my lesson though…… they need constant supervision. It’s not a front of the house problem.

You’ll get the feel and ambiance of a hacienda that took years to develop to a quaint and comfortable place to eat and spend time with the family. The food is well prepared and delicious! Good portions. The name of the restaurant carved onto the wooden booths and old style tables were a good touch of class. Was not crowded and very comfortable. I would recommend it highly if you are visiting Corpus Christi. Thank you!

The staff was rude to my husband. The combo plate had undercooked ground beef on the tacos. The carne asada plate had watery/tasteless guacamole and mushy tomatoes. The food was pricey. We threw the food away after a few bites. Gave an extra star for the bean and cheese burrito, as my son liked it. Will never return, regardless.

This is one of my rare non-praises, but aligns with several Reviewer opinions. Service: From the start, a younger waitress took someones order who walked in and sat after me. She came back to bring the drinks then beelined back to staff area while two guys (owners/managers?) with headsets chatted undistracted at the bar area. I supposed their duty was to welcome all guests with “Anywhere you like please”. Another waitress saw how the younger waitress didn’t work my table, glared at her, then bought a menu and took my drink order. A third waitress bright my drinks and asked if I was ready to order – I kindly informed her that I was just handed the menu and would need a few minutes. After the first 3 waitresses came to my table, a waitress named NUBIA took my order and tended to be my dining needs from that point forward. NUBIA is a seasoned professional that obviously needs to be modeled by her peers. Food: Cheese on enchiladas was either American or mild cheddar, which are not my faves. Chips and salsa are commendable. Suggestion: Management, train your wait staff to scan the dining area, as this seems to be a common grievance in the Reviews. If you don’t assign zones or tables maybe you should as there’s a lot of time being wasted here. Today there were plenty of servers scheduled so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. Food was meh so this is my first and only visit to Casa Vieja. Your interior looks great – I was anticipating a finer dining experience.
