I’ve read through old reviews and it seems like this place really changed their ways. The food was fantastic, close to homestyle food. Servers were attentive, but not overly attentive. A very nice balance. The atmosphere was great as well, very welcoming. I’d have to say, it’s probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in town in a while. Although I’d feel like the time you’d go would probably affect your experience, since I had went when it was less busy, around 2-3 PM. Definitely worth a visit!

I went with my friend and the service was actually pretty good but the steak was horrible. Had a couple bites and told the server this steak is gray no flavor no sear or anything. Waitress was really nice then Christopher the manager came over and was really rude. I said ill pay for the steak but it just wasnt good at all. He was a total jerk and very unprofessional. If i owned that place id fire him on the spot. I golf down the road and used to eat there often. I wont ever go back. Terrible!

Towards the end of our meal we saw a roach walking on a wall. As we were getting up to leave the roach crawled onto the table we were sitting at .I showed/told cashier about the roach and she said,”sorry.” I even took a couple of pictures of the to show her. I was trying to be nice and suggested for them to get an exterminator. She said they do once a week.

Ordered the chicken quesadilla plate that’s listed on the menu to come with a salad. The chicken was dry, and had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. The salad was a pinch of lettuce and a soggy tomato. Rice wasn’t completely cooked, and beans were bland. Since I ordered through DoorDash, I was told the restaurant couldn’t do anything for a refund.

Joined some friends for lunch on a Thursday. Nice building, very pleasant dining area. Lots of good menu options! I ordered the Jesse plate, and my husband had the chicken fried steak (lunch special). Our food came out quickly, the order was accurate, and tasted great. Generous portions, good variety, excellent service. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Looking forward to visiting again.
