Wonderful experience! Ordered vegetarian food: Hakka noodles, gobi Manchurian, veg dum biryani, Bangla paneer, masala dosa.

Everything was yummy; our favorites being the Gobi Manchurian and the Bangla paneer.

Their masala tea and filter coffee were also really good. Our server Sravya was very patient in answering all our questions and had a very cheerful disposition. Excellent service! Also their spice levels were Indian spice level; so we ordered mild and the food was very flavorful without being bland; just the right amount of spicy.

Only cons was there was 20 min waiting time. Can’t blame them.

We’ve visited Ulavacharu Restaurant 3–4 times, and every single visit has surprised us with new signature dishes and they’ve all turned out absolutely delicious!
We tried the Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani, Vistaraku Chicken Pulav, Bangla Chicken, and Aritaku Chicken Kebab. Each dish had its own unique flavor and authentic touch. You should never miss their Ulavacharu dishes. A special mention to “Allu” she did a fantastic job and made our experience even better with her friendly service and detailed explanations.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves flavorful and authentic food!

Ulvacharu Frisco is an absolute gem! The food, service, and overall experience were nothing short of outstanding.
We ordered the bangla chicken, konaseema kodi vepudu, vistraku pulao, mutton dum biryani and garrelu. Bangla chicken was a unique creation with great flavors.
Vistraku pulao is made with the chitti mutyalu rice cooked inside the leaf very unique flavor.
The mutton dum biryani was outstanding with great flavors.
Sravya our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit.
Ulvacharu Frisco is a must-visit. Highly recommended we’ll definitely be back!

I was greeted with a fairly warm reception from the waiter. During my visit, I ordered two starters—both very tasty—along with a delicious biryani.

Bangla Chicken:
The dish looked visually appealing, though it felt like the presentation may have compensated for the rather meagre quantity of chicken in each piece. That said, the waitress kindly allowed me to customise the spice level, which significantly elevated the dish. Their “high spice” truly means high spice.

Schezwan Paneer:
This dish was excellent and instantly transported me to China. It appeared they used authentic numbing chillies rather than the usual pungent Indian ones, which added depth and complexity to the flavour. We ordered it with a high spice level, and it turned out to be genuinely spicy.

Veg Dum Biryani:
The biryani was very good as well (unfortunately, we don’t have a picture). After realising that “high spice” here really lives up to its name, we opted for a medium spice level—but it still packed a solid punch. The dish tasted great both with and without the gravy, and there was even a humorous mention of our state had we chosen the high-spice option .

Overall:
The food quality was impressive, and I appreciated seeing the staff proactively check on each table to gather honest feedback—a very positive sign. I also noticed customers purchasing breakfast items late at night, which truly reflects the restaurant’s popularity and success.

I greatly appreciate the effort to open up yet another Indian food outlet given the competition around. Have ordered shrimp and paneer appetizers which were a bit too spicy to get the taste of them although they were served as medium spicy. The highlight of the platter was ulavacharu chicken biryani which was the best I had in town. Service was top notch although the spatial orientation of the restaurant could be improved to provide some private fine dining experience. The owner of the restaurant made it a point to seek feedback and took it with utmost grace and humility. I have hope that with trivial adjustments, this place could offer a lot more of tasty authentic regional flavors.

We went on Sankranthi day and they gave us complimentary Ariselu, they were good.
We loved everything here
Bangda chicken was good, mamsam vepudu is spicy and good.
Prawns pulav was done very well
They can make their mutton curry a little better.
I didn’t give give 5 stars because their fish tikka is not great it had an after taste and was not great.
Except that everything was better.
We would definitely visit again to try their weekend specials

If you’re looking for authentic Andhra flavors in Frisco, Ulavacharu Indian restaurant is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is welcoming, but the food is the real star of the show.
We tried several dishes, and the Venna Gobi was a total standout—perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The balance of spices and texture made it one of the best vegetarian appetizers we’ve had in a while.
The service was attentive, and the signature Biryanis lived up to the hype. Definitely a 5-star experience for anyone who loves bold, traditional Indian cuisine!

Absolutely loved this place! The south Indian nonveg thali here is outstanding – every item is fresh, flavorful, and truly feels like a home-style meal packed with right spicy and punch, will be good to have podi & ghee as well..
The Authentic Hyderabad Biryani and the Mirchi Pulav were cooked to perfection — aromatic, mildly fiery, and bursting with layered spices specially without the additional oil used by others to enhance taste. Juicy Kebab and other appetizers were simply irresistible, delivering the perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness
The service was warm, the portions generous, and the overall dining experience nothing short of excellent. Highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking authentic cuisine that celebrates every spice and flavor. Management should ensure the quality of food and service remains high and continue to serve Dallas area with the best food.
