Upscale/fancy Mexican restaurant. Went there for dinner and absolutely loved it. It was just two of us. We tried their Mexican Mojitos and Paloma cocktails while we waited for our ceviche appetizer (pictured). The chips seemed handmade and the ceviche was very fresh. Our entrees were the pescado al tequila, and the pozole. The fish was nice and light and the broth was excellent with the rice. The clay pot the pozole came in was super cute but the tender juicy pork shoulder inside it blew us away! We weren’t in any rush so we were able to relax and take our time. It was slower than a typical restaurant but there was a table of 14 adults that slowed things way down with how picky/fussy they were being. The servers still remained peppy and up beat and very friendly! The super crazy part is that they have a drive thru window!!!

The dining experience left much to be desired. While the food was tender, its peculiar taste reminiscent of cleaning supplies was off-putting and the presence of large chunks of fat in the meat was disappointing. Moreover, the exorbitant prices did not align with the quality of the dishes. Additionally, the server’s lack of enthusiasm was palpable, bordering on annoyance towards our presence. Overall, a disappointing outing.

I have been to the Beaverton location many times usually the food and services is pretty good so I was excited for the Cornelius location to open. I’ve been in there several times and got the posole. You get a pretty decent portion, evenly distributed with the broth, meat and hominy, but I got it to go this evening two orders but when I checked my bag I noticed in the little containers they put the individual orders in contained hardly any broth when I brought it up to the waitress she didn’t seem to care or want to try to fix it so I just left unhappy but then when I got home to empty the containers into bowls for myself and my husband, it was like one order split one had no broth one had meat in it but no hominy the other one had hominy but no meat and a little broth so it seem like they put one order in two containers and didn’t send the second order so it was really disappointing to get all the way home and realize we got one small portion in two containers so one of us is going hungry No flavor very clearish broth I had to add some bouillon and salt. I figured since they were just getting opened up and running job. Just ignore all the issues but as time goes by nothing has gotten better so I don’t think I’m going back. Their hours are weird they open later than they say or the staff are late the pico salsa is not as good as the other location, they didn’t have some items on the menu which was disappointing to my husband for the prices. You would think you would get good food and good service. Very dissatisfied. Customer I own a business and I would not. Be OK with the quality and service. I guess customer service, Is no longer a thing.

Casa Lola is the perfect authentic Mexican kitchen for SW Beaverton/ Tigard. They do not offer organic foods or locally sourced foods (that would easily give them 5 stars).

Their chips & salsa were delicious. Chips were light and salty. Salsa was chunky and flavorful pico de gallo style. We had the guacamole, ceviche, and the steak and rice bowl. Wishing I had the afternoon to spare to test out their fresh squeezed like margaritas.

No longer recommend for take out; the service is way too spotty and no sense of timeliness.

We used to regularly frequent this place for takeout but the last few visits have been incredibly hit or miss – either they “didn’t see our ticket” or this time, “someone else picked it up.”

With this order, they said they’d rush it right away, and yet it was still an hour wait (30 mins in the drive thru and counting) for a remake. Unfortunately this is getting more and more common with take out.

This place is seriously a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I were able to walk there from our apartment and were sat immediately. The BEST salsa and chips, amazing atmosphere and even better service. 100% recommend!

I finally made it to Casa Lola, and I’m glad I did!! The dishes are from scratch, well prepared, and healthier than the typical Mexican food. Service was friendly, efficient, and very welcoming. Items pictured are vegetarian. Margareta lightly sweetened with agave.

Where do I begin? If you want an absolute pleasant eating experience, eat at Casa Lola Kitchen, in Cornelius Oregon. To start our meal off we ordered the Topas de Mole. Nice thick, home fried tortilla chips covered in a luxurious mole sauce, topped off with Mexican cream and queso fresco. This was my first time trying mole, and I was not disappointed.
For her entree, my wife ordered the Filete de Pescado al Tequila. Red snapper with a butter tequila sauce and served with rice. The fish was tender, moist, not too fishy, and oh so flaky. The sauce was a delicious compliment to the lovely filet. I can safely and confidently say that this was the most delicious fish dish I have eaten and it’s incredibly simple.
For my entree, I went with the Fajita Nachos and I added steak. These nachos used the same tortilla chips as our appetizer, and they were perfect. The bell peppers and onions added a delicious garden fresh taste to the dish. They were also charred to perfection which added a hint of smoky sweetness with every bite. The jalapenos were spicy, charred, and an incredible addition as well. The melted cheese was mixed in with more of their delicious mole sauce and to top it off, was a lovely drizzle of Mexican queso fresco, which added an element of creaminess to the meal.
The amount of food was perfect for our little family of three. We shared our food with our little one instead of ordering her a meal, which still left us all full and satisfied. To finish off our lovely evening, we ordered the horchata to go, and had the chance to taste the Arroz con Leche. A delicious, cold rice pudding. The rice was perfectly cooked and the flavor was wonderful. My Puerto Rican wife has never been able to find a rice pudding as good as her family’s, until now.
Overall, this meal was amazing. The ambiance was perfect, the food was stellar, and the service was incredible. 10/10

Nice friendly staff and great food. We went there on Friday night and they were very busy. I liked the dish that I have ordered(Lola’s Bowl). However I expected more vegetables as described on the menu. I wanted to give 5 stars, but have only 4 since it is not a balanced meal without much vegetables.
