We stopped by Casa Blanca as we were passing through town. If we hadn’t read the reviews online first we wouldn’t have stopped in. The exterior is basic white block construction, not the most inviting place. When you go inside it is your typical small town type of restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient, they even have iPads for taking orders. The menu is surprisingly diverse all be it almost entirely comfort food. If you are looking for a substantial meal… you can’t go wrong here! The servings are affordable, hearty, quality and served hot. You can tell the locals appreciate this place and my wife tells me it is well known in the area. We ended up taking home two boxes of leftovers. You can easily split the Sea Food Special. It was a massive plate and very fresh. I gave them 4 stars because they could definitely improve the interior decor and exterior curb appeal but ultimately the food was good and so was the service. I would definitely go back even though ambiance is not their strong point… I guess what I am saying is don’t pass it up just because it’s lacking curb appeal. You won’t be disappointed.

We waited about 45 minutes for our food. They skipped us and served someone that got there after we did. Then to top it off after 45 minutes of waiting our waitress tells us they didn’t have chicken strips. Horrible service!!! Would never go back. We went to the Boot Co. Restaurant and it was amazing. Super fast service I recommend going there 100% they’re food is delicious and the service was amazing.

Run down inside & outside, mediocre food, loud as heck, disorganized, tiny menu. Got my order wrong also. The photo posted was their “salad buffet”. Only upside was all the workers were very kind.

My husband & I LOVED this place. Food was hot & sooo delicious. We had their Mexican plate & it had so much flavor. Our waitress was so sweet & kind…everyone there was very friendly. We plan on going back because that fried chicken the people next to us had was calling our names!! Thank you Casa Blanca for your hospitality. You definitely have these customers going back.

We found this hidden gem passing through after visiting South Padre for the weekend. Home cooked meals, nice friendly staff, and more food than one could ask for. My husband and I could have ate off the same plate tbh. Food was seasoned and the Texas Sweet Tea was just right…I had to get some to go for the ride home! You will not be disappointed. There credit card system was down so take cash just in case.
