Everything here is amazing every time I come! The service is friendly and very helpful. My friend I’ve come with a couple times has food allergies and they are so kind and accommodating with her needs. The drinks are delicious and the food is very tasty and prepared well!!

Visited this restaurant during the week and had a really nice experience. The service was very friendly and fast. I had the enchiladas en mole poblano and the side of beans with the blue corn tortillas. I thought it was unusual for a Mexican restaurant to serve black beans as a side but they were full of flavor. I thought the food was good. The flan dessert was disappointing as I found the custard to be too hard. Overall I found the meal to be a good value.

Our food was wonderful!! The street corn off the cob was pure heaven! Husband got the ahi tuna tostada which was very flavorful but not spicy. Lastly the chicken tortilla soup was perfect!

Never had a bad meal here. Service is always impeccable. Martin is extremely attentive and quick. Food never disappoints. Even better atmosphere sitting at the bar or on the beautiful patio! 11/10 could not recommend enough! A new Peoria staple.

The atmosphere and service at the restaurant were both quite good—friendly staff and a pleasant, well-designed space. The mixed drinks were especially delicious and clearly crafted with care.
However, the value for money just wasn’t there. Portion sizes were disappointingly small. I ordered the taco plate, which came with just three small tacos for $18, and no rice or beans on the side. We ended up ordering a side of rice, which arrived in a tiny ramekin—about the size of a side of ranch—for an additional $5. Needless to say, we left still hungry.
While the experience was enjoyable in some aspects, the underwhelming portions and steep pricing make it hard to justify a return visit. I have high hopes for this place after some initial growing pains.

Great modern Mexican food. Creative delicious menu. Reasonable price and great service and lively ambience. Awesome cocktail. There is happy hour from 3 to 5. A feat new addition to the food scene here.

Wow. Just wow. Best carnitas and we have traveled to Mexico City trying many carnitas. The drinks were delicious. The food came out so quickly, and I could eat the ceviche everyday. So fresh and flavorful. Yes it’s expensive, but the quality is high.

I don’t often elevate Mexican restaurants because so many have become cookie cutter fast-food style, but Casa Agave is a true example of La Cultura and makes me proud of mi gente. Best margaritas since the late lamented Eldorado in Galena. Excellent food, truly authentic, lovingly prepared and served. The salsas are delicious and fresh without being overpoweringly spicy.

Peoria has needed a place like this for a long time. Went on a pretty busy Saturday night only a couple of weeks after opening. We were seated quickly, and the service was pretty smooth. Our party of four ordered drinks and appetizers. The Oaxacan Old Fashion was smoky and delicious. We ordered Tres Ceviches and Trio de Salsas … all were very different and very tasty.
Our party of four all ordered something different. I had the Pulpo Asado. The octopus was perfectly cooked … it was very tender and juicy. The rest of the party all said their dishes were spot on. It was a great dinner. I can’t wait to return!
