I’m so sad that I didn’t get the name of the man who helped me, but I asked them if they had coconut he said coconut shavings ONLY, no ice cream. HOWEVER, this young man went above and beyond and gave me coconut shavings, vanilla ice cream, coconut shavings, and then the cookie dough pieces I had asked for as well. He even said it himself “sorry I went a little overboard” there’s no such thing! He was relatively tall about 5″10 to 6’0 maybe and he had curly hair. He was very nice and had energy, he clearly liked being there and people like that deserve recognition!!! Bravo to this man for making my headache go away with this bad boy! He even put it in a larger cup so that it wouldn’t make a mess! A lot of people in the food industry don’t care, but he did–does! Give that man a raise!

I got a single scoop of coffee (cold brew). It did not taste anything like coffee. There was no taste whatsoever other than it being sweet. Would never get coffee ice cream from here

Like other recent reviews have said, under the new ownership and management customer service has gone downhill, which is too bad bc the previous owners were the sweetest. Been coming here for almost 20 years, but probably won’t anymore. Management could definitely use training on how to interact with customers. I’d recommend the Carvel on Wantagh Ave. in Bethpage where service is always exceptional.

It is now 2024 & under new management. I can no longer rave about it. I first was shocked to see both the huge price increase in cakes, as well as the decrease in size. Then when I asked for assistance, I was told to read the boxes. If I could have found the info I wouldn’t have asked for help.
I will no longer be making the trip, not worth it.
Well, this was 3years ago…Thick milkshakes, YES!! There are some new people learning, but the owner is set on giving his customers the best. The cakes & flying saucers are generously proportioned too!
Everything is fresh & I am always greeted with a smile & “can I help you”.
I have 3 shops a little closer to my home, but I go to Levittown , so worth the trip!!

We bought our first birthday cake there. We had two pictures on the same cake. They did a great job with the cake. Price was fair and staff was super accomodating and answered all of our questions patiently. More importantly, the cake was ready on time and it exceeded our expectations. We hope to be there soon as long as they keep up the good work.

My mom gets ice cream from here almost every other day and the staff is great with the exception of one young man. This guy will walk in the back if he sees my mom come in and tell whoever he is working with to help her instead of him. Not sure how that’s customer service. If the review was based on him. He wouldn’t get any stars but overall as a place it’s pretty good. Can’t complain otherwise

Came here on a Saturday night, December 3,2022. Ice cream’s good. Customer service.. can do better. Drop the attitude. The young lady with red hair had her hands on her waist and her eyes kept on either rolling or wide-open as if somebody’s saying something that’s just beyond her. Her and the dark-haired young lady were eye-communicating and it wasn’t nice. It really made me feel unwelcome as soon as we walked in. As if I was disrupting their lives. Please, fix the attitude. It’s unbecoming.

I highly recommend this place. My husband and I went to get icecream. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and one of them was so kind that gave me two cups for my melting cones. I didn’t got his name, but I thanks his kindness with the customers.

Here is where I ate my first carvel Oreo Sundae Dasher. I’ve been a regular during the summers. Recently I can’t be cause I am working for my college tuition. I love this place. The staff are super friendly. If I had the chance I would give these employees a hug.

I just came back from carvel. I ordered a medium shake, small cone and a medium carvalanche. The bill was $19+ . The medium carvalanche was terrible. They did not fill it up at all. When I said something about it I was told that is how it is. I do not mind spending money but this was a total RIP off. Carvel is going down hill. I will not be returning.
