Since the 1980’s this local icon has been brought to life each year by the Pappas family while maintaining the promise to provide great food that is sure to melt your heart. If our walls could talk, you would be able to hear all about the generations of families that stopped in week after week to enjoy fresh New England seafood, tasty long dogs, and a delicious cone. We’ve been going to Carol’s for a few years now and the food is always delicious! I went there today for the first time since they opened this year with their renovations and I think they have improved it for the better! I am really happy that the menu is available on their website now, and the new digital menu screen looks great. My boyfriend and I ordered a long dog and a clam strip dinner, When we first got our order, they had given us whole belly clams instead of the strips, which unfortunately I just don’t like because of the flavor. I almost didn’t say anything, but I was really looking forward to my first clam strips of the season, so I had my boyfriend go and tell them about the mix-up! They were so nice about it and accommodating. My corrected order came out fast and the clam strips were phenomenal! That is another thing — the service was so much faster than usual! It wasn’t too busy, but I was still impressed. They also accept cards now, which is a plus. We will be coming back whenever we’re craving fried seafood or a long dog this Summer!

I understand there is an inflation but the facts that i gave my daughter $5 to buy a kiddie soft served strawberry ice cream and her coming back saying she doesn’t have enough because its over $8 is by far the most ridiculous thing i have hear all summer . I am extremely shocked !

Did not like fried scallop plate, bad aftertaste, batter didn’t adhere to scallops. Guessing they use wet scallops which are treated with sodium triphosphate which adds water weight and gives a bitter aftertaste.

Huge change in hours closed on Mondays rest of the week it’s noon till 8pm, no wonder we thought she was closed! Hope Mama Papas is okay, she is a wonderful person ❤️! Wonderful place to eat! Food is delicious!

I started loving them because they had watermelon sherbet coolers but the last time I was there they didn’t. However they do have slush puppies which nobody has anymore. So I think that totally almost makes up for it.

This is one of the few ice cream places I like. Fresh ingredients, sweet and professional staff and the food is good too! I haven’t tried a lot – fish and chips mostly, but that’s the Friday Yum Menu. The cheesecake ice cream is so good! I’ve been told they’ll be closing so check them out.

CASH ONLY. There seafood was great. We got a medium fried clam strips and a med. Fried Scallop and the clams were enough for my son and I both and they werent all batter and no meat. The scallops were big an taste great. There service was friendly and fast. Like most places I feel there small ice creams were big as well as a small frappe.
