When you think Café Food, Carol’s is your place that you want to go. It’s a wonderful little hole in the hall restaurant but they are worth your time to check out. My partner and I go there every so often when we want Café style food because we know what we are getting with Carol’s and thats a good meal and awesome service. I love their chicken fried steak and my partner loves their hamburger steak. My partner and I have been to many of steak houses where she’s ordered her steaks medium rare and they all have come medium well, every time she orders her hamburger steak at Carol’s it’s come out medium rare every single time.

Don’t know about the atmosphere since I ordered thru door dash, but the food was very good! Got biscuits and gravy and pancakes and eggs and bacon. Got here quickly and was well packaged so it arrived in good shape. Will order again, and I want to try some of their lunch plates as well.

Hole in the wall, for sure. The facilities need a good scrubbing. But man, everything we ordered was so good! Turkey & dressing, turnip greens, fried squash. We even had dessert: coconut pie with whipped cream. The prices are very reasonable, and Robin our server was great. We’ll be back…if they aren’t shut down first! Recover the booths and clean up, y’all!

Waitress was very nice. Prices good for the portions. Traditional southern foods, not fancy setting, very casual. They have a drive up window too, I guess for pick up orders? Fried squash was super. They have a daily $4.99 special, one meat with two sides and bread.

I love the atmosphere in this little restaurant. The ladies greet you as soon as you enter and you’re allowed to sit wherever (at least this was my experience on a Thursday afternoon). The food is actually really tasty like a home cooked meal. The biscuits are heavenly and my food was hot. I highly recommend the gravy! Yum
