My son and I moved here recently. A main thing we enjoy doing is finding “Our” place. Well we found it! The calamari was perfect. The wedge salad was so beautiful and fresh. Our sandwiches were huge. His fish was delicious and crispy. But in truth Our server was the best part. She was very attentive and friendly.

As a hotel eatery, it looks more like a sports bar, a large bar at the focal point of the place. Several TVs are on blasting several sports events.
It’s an average / adequate eating for its purpose and location, which is inside a hotel in PIT airport hotel row.
The dining area overall is dimly lit despite those TV screens over the bar.
The menu is short, which one leads to think some mastery of the really short listing.
*** UNFORTUNATELY, 3 of the 5 listed (OVERPRICED) mains/entrees were NOT available …. THIS IS A TERRIBLE FAUX PAS for any eating establishment.
*** Unavailability of food listed in a short menu means poor planning .
The rest of the food selections are pub-grubs, which is not surprising given the focal point of the place is a bar.
The Fried Brussels Sprouts is prepared well. Its Crunchiness is enhanced by bits of bacon . HOWEVER, the BBQ sauce overpowers the flavor and crispy sprouts ….PLEASE have the option of putting this sauce on the side OR ditch it altogether since IT IS NOT NEEDED!!!
The Burger is equally prepared well, the patty itself is flavorful . The garnishes especially the Swiss cheese lifts up the burger.
– it is served with very crispy thin strips of freshly cut potatoes. BUT it is salty .
There’s a decent cocktail menu and a short list of wines, most are unknowns… so it’s all luck of draw.
Service however is very good.

The bourbon smash had too much orange juice and tasted more like a watered down bourbon sour. The waitress was nice enough. We did wait a few minutes before seeing her or any employee because she was delivering room service. The mushroom swiss burger was a preformed patty and served with swiss and mushrooms as advertised. No sauce with the mushrooms, no mayonnaise, no ketchup, no mustard, no tomato so the burger was rather dry as delivered. The slaw was okay. The fries were fresh and nicely done which is the only reason for 3 stars. My wife and I really enjoyed the fries. She ordered a BLTTA which had smoked turkey and avocado that sandwich was good. Over all a nice atmosphere with decent service but the food needs work.

While staying at the PIT Airport Doubletree I stopped in here one morning for breakfast. They offer a buffet for $18 (current price as of 6/28/23) and a regular a’la carte menu too.
I opted for the breakfast quesadilla from the breakfast menu. They give a carafe of coffee on the table, which was just ok, but wasn’t very bold (more watered-down) and was warm, not hot.
The quesadillas came out within about 10 mins, which was good for my tight timeline. They tasted decent, nothing special, but definitely tasty.
Service was decent… though I will say the ladies working here were very friendly.
Not a bad option when staying at this hotel for breakfast. But Egg N’at is right next door and I’ve been there before, definitely a larger, more creative menu and better execution for breakfast.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and made sure that my dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The menu offered a wonderful variety of dishes, and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. Each course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy yet elegant, making it an ideal spot for both casual and special occasions. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail and the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Caroline’s Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service

Food was not good or what I ordered no chicken on the chicken quesadilla. When I spoke to the lady, she said there was nothing she could do. Very sad to see the quality of the food and the Customer Service lacking here used to be a great place.

Had no expectations when getting a bite at this hotel restaurant but hot diggity was it a great surprise! Had a fresh wedge salad and then took a chance on the Rueben Pierogi’s, which is not a usual decision for me, but when in Pittsburgh do as the y’inzers do! My goodness this dish was exceptional! The kraut, lightly seared pierogi’s, chopped dill pickle with Swiss and thousand island was the best comfort food I’ve had in years!!!! The service was excellent. The atmosphere is like a solid hotel restaurant.

Excellent place to have dinner. I ordered the corn and crab chowder. It was delicious and tasted like beef, corn, and crab chowder. I definitely would get that again. I also ordered the crab cakes with fries. Those guys were so yummy. It’s a bit heavy on the salt but delicious. Shana was our waitress, and she kept us tended to with excellent service. We are staying at this hotel tonight, and I’m tempted to order that corn and crab chowder for a bedtime snack later because it was that good.

Brianna was what every server should be. Energetic, friendly, and super efficient. I was staying at the hotel and ordered the Pittsburgh Salad. It was splendid. I grew up adding French fries to my salad and the Pittsburgh Salad is the epitome of the area. Pair it with a yuenling and you have a perfect meal. Add the blacked grilled chicken to the salad for perfection. Thanks Brianna for a great customer service experience!
