Great ice cream, and great prices. The portions are fairly generous with high-quality, dense creamy ice cream.
The shop is really neat, old school style with new school flavor. I didn’t buy any chocolate, but did pick up some fudge. The fudge was very reasonable in price, and very well made.

I can’t hardly say the name! I sing it!
My husband has stopped buying me flowers and now offers to take me to my hearts desire….Caroline’s!
Charming Charming Charming! And boy! The candies. Shakes, malts, coffees and hot cocoa AND ICE CREAMS! The coconut and toasted coconut ice creams couples with the best ever chocolate ice cream, Captains Chocolate…is divine!
Plus, they give you a punch card for free scoops that I can’t fill up fast enough!

Great experience! Things seem a little expensive, but this is a specialty shop and it should be expected. The chocolate was oh so good!!! The ice cream was outstandingly delicious! I am so grateful my friend and I didn’t go to a chain ice cream store. The building is beautiful, the art gallery across the hall is absolutely wonderful. The staff in both places was friendly and polite. The store was clean and the shelves were well stocked and neatly kept. I will definitely go back here and I highly recommend stopping here.

Caroline’s is a great place to stop when you have a sweet tooth. It’s located in the Griffin building in Joplin, MO. There is plenty of parking on site. You can get everything from different kinds of candy to coffee and ice cream. It’s easy to get sugar overload. I ordered a 2 scoop sundae. The Butterfinger and chocolate ice cream made a delicious combination. It was thick, smooth, and full of flavor. You can also add a wide variety of toppings. It’s an ice cream, and chocolate lover’s dream come true. I am looking forward to my next trip to Joplin, Missouri.

Fantastic ice cream and candy store in the historic Gryphon Building on South Main Street in Joplin. Great place to bring the kids and let them experience ice cream parlors from the “Good Ol’ Days”!! YUM!!

Step back in time for delicious hard scoop ice cream, candy, old fashioned soda and fudge. The tastes are free but you do have to pay for a full serving, play your cards right and you can try them all to get your ice cream fix. The setting is beautiful and atmosphere is nostalgic. It is for sure a great stop in your adventuring in the mid-west.
