I went to this restaraunt last night to grab something to eat for my daughter and I on the way home after taking our dogs out to the park. I was tired and did not feel like cooking. When I got home, I started doing other things like getting my dogs situated, washing the dishes, feeding them etc. when I get ready to eat, I open the plate and only have my hamburger steak. All my sides are missing. The same thing goes for my daughter’s plate. All she had was her turkey and stuffing and no sides. There were no other cars in the drive thru at the time so I don’t see how a mistake like that could’ve been made. Now the restaurant is closed and I have to wait until tomorrow to address the issue. I’m down 30$ and STILL HUNGRY. I’m super upset

I used to love this place growing up, but when y’all failed your inspection like a year or so ago I stopped going until today. I was in Simpsonville for an oil change & since I believe in second chances I thought I’d stop by & get an amazing large sweet tea & a hotdog plate. Tea is still amazing, and the guy that took my order and gave to me was super friendly, but SOOOO disappointed when I opened my box & saw these onions all over my hotdog. I can’t stand raw onions on a hotdog & going to lose most of my chili picking them off. After a long day of work then running errands I was looking forward to trying y’all again, but disappoint is all I feel now.

I can’t even tell y’all how much I loved this place. Very homey! Just good, ole fashioned southern cooking.

The food was all fresh. Fries were not frozen (Clock should take some lessons from this place!) I ordered the shrimp and it was perfectly fried. Tarter sauce was fantastic.

All the food was fantastic. The okra could’ve used some salt but I think restaurants do that on purpose in case their customers don’t like the excess salt.

I had never been here before so I wasn’t sure how any of it worked but you walk in and place your order/pay and then you seat yourself. Keep this in mind because you can’t add a tip to the final bill. Thankfully I had cash on me but I would’ve felt awful had I left and not tipped my waitress – she was lovely.

Lots of smiles from staff and customers. I loved it and I will definitely be back.

P.s. the sweet tea is amazing!

I order from this place quite often on Door Dash and decided to dine in because I was off today. But I wasn’t greeted upon entering and did not feel welcomed.

But I was hungry, so I didn’t care

Needless to say, the food is phenomenal in my opinion. I mean, that’s what brought me in lol.

But after the lady took my order, I noticed the price of sausage was 50 cent more than what the menu showed that I requested. And even after I brought it to her attention, she completely ignored me.

My total came out to $12.69 and paid with a 20 so my change was $7.31 but the lady kept my lil penny .

Now I know I’m bein petty bout a penny, but if you’re goin to charge me 50 cent more for some sausage, I need all my change back.

Please and Thank You!!

Unfortunately, the macaroni and cheese was dry and tasted of plain pasta. Hardly any cheese. Fried chicken was ok. Sweet potato casserole wasn’t bad. Banana pudding was ok but bananas had turned black so I didn’t eat them. Very disappointing.

Carolina Fine Foods is a solid go-to spot, especially for group gatherings. I meet here occasionally with my men’s Bible study, and they’re always happy to accommodate us with our own room, which is a huge plus. The staff is friendly, fast, and clearly knows how to keep things moving.

We usually hit the breakfast buffet — it’s reasonably priced, routinely refilled, and exactly what you expect: classic breakfast staples done reliably well. Nothing fancy, just dependable comfort food.

My only “issue,” if you can even call it that, is that the place — and much of the clientele — feels wonderfully ancient. I’m fairly certain I saw archaeologists excavating one of the booths for historical artifacts. At mid-30s, I was easily the youngest person in the building.

That said, if you want friendly service, a hearty breakfast, and a place that feels like it’s been there since the dawn of time (in a comforting way), Carolina Fine Foods delivers.

Had breakfast here recently with our old guys retired group. Our servers were fantastic! Extremely nice ladies that took great care of us. Didn’t let our coffee get empty. My omelet was delicious. Looking forward to coming back for breakfast again soon.

Order Fried Chicken Liver Plate and they were fried so long even after dipping in gravy the damn thing broke my tooth in half. See why there’s a C on the door. Had to give the star to leave the review but it deserves none.

Worst burger I have had in years!! We ordered a variety of burgers for the family and I cant be sure if any contained any real beef. Im not sure what the “meat” was. I have been a customer for several years but whatever changed with the food lately (to save cost?) has definitely affected the quality of the product. Yuck!

The coleslaw kinda tastes like imitation crab. The thousand island was meh. Potato salad was tragic. Most of the menu was pretty standard fare otherwise. There’s actually two menu items that have impressed me.

The first is the fried pork chop. I like the batter and the juiciness they retained in the cooking. Actually surprised by the quality considering this is usually a weakness in places like this.

Second, they made their mash potatoes to the perfect, texture, at least for me. It was thick, but not to the point it was lumpy. Overall, just a pleasant experience to dip the fried food into.

Their fried chicken was good too. I’ve had better, but it’s better than the average fried chicken.

Service is good. You gotta ask for more plates/bowls rather than being able to pick them up yourself. Also, the utensils, at least the ones I received, were still a bit wet from the dishwasher, so be sure to dry them off with your napkins first.
