I haven’t been to a Carl’s in decades, but I wanted to see if it was as good as I remembered. I remember getting the Six Dollar Burger, for like $3.00. That’s long gone, I think the closest thing they have is a big Carl burger for like over $8.00 bucks! I did see a less expensive option that actually looked pretty good. It was the California Double Cheeseburger or just $3.50, and came with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles. For that price I got that as dod my friend, who added fried zucchini and onion rings. These two sides were priced about $5.00 bucks each inc some tax. Way more than I’d pay, but he wanted them anyways.

I’ll say this California Double Cheeseburger is the best bang for the buck on the menu. It’s similar to a Double Double at In N Out, but not quite as good. For the price it’s cheaper though. The burger had a good flame broiled flavor that In N Out won’t have. I’ll come back here more often now!

Cashier rushed my wife through her order and barely listened to what we were ordering. The staff was more interested in hitting on each other, talking crap about customers in Spanish thinking we don’t understand what they’re saying and shutting the store down at 6:53pm than running the store. Funny thing is that they close at 11pm…. I’ve managed a fast food place before and I would find replacements in heartbeat. This was embarrassing to bring my family too.

Usually pretty good but the last few months I’ve been getting sub par burgers and hard buns. I pay the extra and dont mind waiting for fresh food. But I guess they just dont care as much now.

The people working here are awesome every time we go there they great us with pleasing smiles and always acknowledge our kids making them laugh and make sure we have everything we need. I would ask why the company doesn’t pay them more as most of them barely make enough to survive in the expensive town of Reno. It’s gotten to the point they are asking for tips. It definitely shouldn’t be this way. Of course we always give what we can . Keep up the good work peoples.

So this place was pretty good for awhile but it’s slipped again. Just paid $8.89 x 2 for two DOUBLE Westerns, got two SINGLES. I mean, why is this so hard? I order, I pay, I check the receipt, and get home and it’s wrong. I give up on these places.

While the hamburger and fries taste good.
The staff here needs to be more considerate of their customers.

I had hoped this place would be similar to choices and quality as Hardees but Carls jr had very limited breakfast options on drive thru menu. The sausage biscuit was sub par. Biscuit fell apart with every bite and I couldn’t even tell the sausage patty was there. Texture was not meat.

Burger was not fresh.. What happened to the hardboiled burger. Was more like boiled!! $21 too much. The new bacon western fries were so salty couldn’t eat them. Not going to Carl’s anymore!

I got the Charbroiled chicken sandwich which has been a favorite of mine for many years. But this time it was insanely tough to chew. Very rubbery.
