Frozen pre packed homemade take home meals, and soups. I bought a few to try. Breakfast and salads were really good. Meatloaf was a bit off and I prefer my hash brown a bit more crispy. Large selection of baked goods, pies, breads and cookies. Staff was super friendly!

If you’re considering giving this place a shot, you should. Biscuits and gravy were exceptional, as was the French toast. Very well priced. Will be back! Had various snacks and pies, as well as some jalapeño jams and pumpkin butter. Everything was excellent!

Unapologetic! I wasn’t impressed. We have like 10 of these breakfast/brunch/lunch options in Elkhart county. First visit, menu looked interesting, but the food was basic, and I was expecting that “mmmhhhmm with the head nod up & down!” But it was a glance at my table, and we instantly started saying this place is like other restaurants. I’m huge on my food being hot in temperature, paying for lukewarm warm biscuits and gravy, paying for lukewarm French toast, not what I expected. The only food that was hot were my 2 year old grandson’s eggs, when he should’ve had lukewarm in temp, because he’s a child. This place was busy, but I’m still trying to figure out how? It was so basic, I’m looking for “wow!” eateries! It’s no different from the other breakfast spots. I recommend if you like basic! But for me & mines, no repeating this one!

This place is a gem! Tucked away in a strip mall near downtown and the river is this treat.

It is a family-run bakery/coffee shop that serves excellent food. I’ve had 2 breakfasts here, and both have been very good. The coffee is top-notch! The food is real, homemade and tasty!

They have tons of fresh baked goods, plus stuff to take and bake.

Atmosphere is very Elkhart county, with a bit of Amish/Mennonite decor.

This is very popular with the white- and grey-hair crowd. (I’m part of the grey crowd) Good place to have a cup of coffee with friends or your family.

I forgot to mention how amazing the price/value is. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable.

It is becoming one of my favorites for brunch. I need to try their lunches, but I know that it will be tasty.

Very welcoming place. The ladies that were working were very kind and friendly. After we had placed our order at the counter and picked our table there was just enough time before the food came out to peek over at all the premade meals and treats to go that they had to offer. The biscuits and gravy I ordered hit the spot with the gravy smothering both the biscuit as well as the hash browns that come with it. My partner enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. Were curious to come back to try out the pulled pork and to grab one of the frozen pot pies to go!

Baker’s Nook Cafe is an absolute gem! This place has such a wonderfully homely vibe that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in.
The focus on quality is obvious in every dish. All the food tastes incredibly fresh and is consistently amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care and attention into what they serve.
Beyond the delicious food, the staff truly makes the experience. The workers are great—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. It’s a testament to the excellent management and the positive all-around good atmosphere they’ve created.
Whether you’re looking for a comfortable place to relax or a delicious meal, Baker’s Nook Cafe delivers on every front. I highly recommend it!

Have eaten here twice this year while visiting family. The food is very good home made meals. The staff is very out going and personable. Wish I had one in my town. Great place to stop and pick up pre-made meals and desserts. We have had breakfast and lunch there and found everyone’s meals were good, no complaints.

This was my first time visiting Bakers Nook Café. They were very friendly and welcomed us as we walked in the door. The dishes we ordered were the Florentine omelette and toasted meatloaf & cheese. The bacon in the Florentine omelette was done perfectly, crispy but not hard. The meatloaf in the toasted meatloaf and cheese sandwich was delicious. They also have a freezer section with freezer meals to bake at home. We got the chicken pot pie to bake at home. We will definitely be returning for another visit.
