Carl’s Bakery is a From-Scratch bakery that has been operating since 1957. We offer a full line of baked goods ranging from breads, buns, fried rolls, cakes, cookies, bars, and a host of other breakfast and specialty seasonal items. We also sell farm fresh pasture-raised meats from Streblow Family Farm; which are featured in such things as our breakfast sandwiches and the variety of from-scratch soups and stews we offer on our lunch menu.

Doughy part of long John had a texture that was much better than gas station/grocery store desserts. It was just a little lighter, almost a touch of crisp in there. It’s a superior experience to eat and sat better in my stomach. Recommended

We got a bacon egg & cheese croissant and it was the BEST breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had!! The hot chocolate was very delicious as well. If I lived here, I would come everyday. Really nice staff too. Definitely recommend!

Ordered and paid for an Apple Pie for my family to pick up as a Thanksgiving Gift, but when my sister called to pick it up they told her they did not have a pie for her. I called and after a lot of “finding out what happened” they told me ” they sold the pie I ordered” and paid for. They then told me they could give my sister a frozen pie at a discount. My sister said she picked up a Frozen Cherry Pie, because they didn’t have apple, and no discount. They didn’t even offer her an apology. Their Turkeys sell at $5/lbs. I order free range local turkeys at $2.49/lb. Seems to me $$ is more important than costumer service and serving the community they live. Not Gods way, in my opinion. I will never order from here again, which is sad because I love sending local baked goods to family members. See the owners response below, again, no apology.
