I wish there were more Caribou Coffees throughout KC but I’m happy for this one! I loved this location as it was quiet, had a cozy area with a fireplace which is my absolute favorite. I got a Honey Lavender Latte and it was delicious.

The photos have the drinks in some beautiful glass mugs. Some of the competition actually puts drinks in there when you stay. Caribou did NOT do that, unfortunately. That gets after the presentation. The turtles are fantastic but lose a lot by only coming in those cardboard cups. That’s the reason for the 4 and not a 5 star review. If that doesn’t bother you, consider this top review.
The employees were HUSTLING in there. The owner and manager would be happy so I hope the crew that was working on 13 April of 2024 gets some serious kudos! They deserve it
The hot turtle mocha was banging. 10/10. Must do. Didn’t do any food so I can’t say how it is, but it all looked good and fresh. A few other people eating the pastries seemed to be pleased so take that for what it’s worth.
Overall, this was a good visit. Would definitely go again.

I rushed in about 15 minutes before closing apologizing (I’ve worked retail and I know the distance of customers who interrupt the end of night flow), and explaining that I’d just gotten off work. The employees replied “No problem” and quickly ground the coffee and asked if I needed anything else. I was so touched by their sincere and upbeat attitude.

I was going to give 5 stars but dropping a star due to the workers talking about how it was weird that I took pictures as I was walking out. That could have waited till I left the building. I was trying to get my 50 pictures for Google. Coffee here is good but high in price to customize. I like the reward system. Until scooters is built, this is my go to coffee place.

I was not impressed with the drip coffee I got or with the dismissive, impersonal, very curt barista. I couldn’t even understand her, her tone was so clipped and curt with fake friendliness. Maybe she was having a bad day, though, so no biggie, I guess. This Caribou, however, was the nicest one I’ve seen in many years. Definitely the nicest exterior I’ve seen. I wish it weren’t so far from my house.

Food is horrible. Bought one of MILK confetti cookies. $5 for a shitty packaged cookie that tastes like waxy dust. horrible! Got the raspberry tea drink and it’s like drinking horribly sweet hard jello in every sip. *ALSO noticed they charged almost 20% TAX! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!

No hazelnut… Enough said. This trend of eliminating hazelnut syrup is rediculous. I can get it at the same cost as all other Torani syrups.
I got a Carmel latte instead and it was awful. The latte tasted like the milk was a week old. I won’t be returning here again.

Our first time here today, we got a matcha unsweetened and vanilla espresso shake. We like it so much, and the people who work there are amazing they helped up to change few things in drink and they even redone the matcha that’s great customer service.
