Generally, the coffee is good and my order is always accurate. However, there is always a significant delay (several minutes) between arriving at the order station, actually being able to put in my order (blank stares, then “oh yeah! a person! I bet she wants coffee”), then waiting for the coffee. I realize it’s a student union, and always busy and I appreciate the service, but I’m sure a supervisor would be able to improve elements to make this a really standout Caribou like I have experienced at other locations.

I’m not a complainer, I work in the food industry so i know how it goes and what they probably deal with. But seriously? I ask for LIGHT ice, and my cup was completely filled with JUST ice. Here’s my SMALL drink mind you, and how much coffee I received after I drained it in a normal size coffee cup. Doesnt even fill it up halfway!! What?? I paid $6 for a cup of ice. Never again!

I love caribou and their match but the last few times i have gone my drinks have been like 3/4 full. It’s really starting to piss me off becuase 7-8$ for a drink is outrageous and then it not being full makes it worse.

They are constantly bombarded with a ton of students and staff for drinks and food items and I always receive my items in a timely manner. People complain about the prices but it’s like obviously it’s more expensive on campus than at a stand alone store?

After they closed the union dining center they made it so you can use a block plan here, this is money I work hard for being used here and they never have anything in stock, ndsu thinks this makes up for no union dining center. I went to get a bagel and they told me they shut the ovens off after I payed for it with my block plan, I’ve worked in kitchens and I get you wanna get things done early but it was very unprofessional.

I like that there is a Caribou Coffee in Memorial Union on campus. I am still getting used to customizing my drink orders, because they don’t have some of the things that Starbucks has, but I’m sure I will figure it out. They do have items that Starbucks doesn’t have. I love the Maple Waffle Sandwich, & I can’t resist pumpkin spice anything to drink!
The guy who is usually the cashier is super friendly. I honestly don’t understand how anyone can be that cheerful in the morning, lol, but he must have the energy that I am lacking! Either way, I appreciate his kindness. I don’t have any real opinions about the rest of the employees because I don’t interact with them, except to get my order and say thanks. I’m sure they are all really nice and valuable employees.

Ordered a large dark chocolate cooler and when I went to pick it up it was dripping a lot and making a mess. Just messy but very good besides that.

The ladies and gentlemen working at the coffee shop are delightful and helpful. They remember what most of us have as our usual. They make good coffee and tea beverages and never fuss about special orders. They also have tasty snacks and sandwiches.
