Not impressed with Friday fish fry carry out. Storms looming tornado watch so let’s try carry out. Small pieces of fish that were rubbery. Fries were room temperature and close to soggy. Cole slaw seemed to be cabbage fresh cut, carrots, and mayonnaise. I hope this carry out experience is not reflective of the dine in experience. Time will tell.

I had the paddy burger and onion rings . The burger patty was the only edible thing I ate . My bun was soggy and cold . My onions rings had hardly any breading on them the sorta cooked onion rings were soggy and super salty . Not impressed . The prime rib melt was cold and soggy . The cod sandwich was cold and soggy . Let’s say we were not impressed with any of the food yucky . We ordered extra sauces for the food as well we did not get any in our take out order . The onion rings were disgusting never again

Went there for breakfast and bloody Marys both were very good! I had the fresh corned beef hash eggs and rye toast and my wife had the country fried pork covered in sausage gravy eggs and hash browns . I opted for the loaded hash browns which came with bell pepper mushroom and onions . All of the food was very good and came out in a very timely fashion. Prices were fair for the portions we were served! We will definitely be back for breakfast again !

We go there for breakfast almost once a week. Good selection of specials, big servings. It’s always great. Bloody Marys are excellent, good beer chasers. We have never gone any other time of day.

We did a pick up we spent 60.00 dollars of are hard earned money we had been working with our horses an we were staving. Bartender shorted my change by $5 on March 5th 2024 1:45am. Then called me a liar when I brought it up to her. I showed her the change was short and she then told me I was gonna get kicked out. I’m a Verona native as is my entire family. Have been going to this location for decades. I will never be back there again after this occurrence. Hopefully this isn’t the standard under the new owners.

We ate here again tonight, and asked for an itemized bill as they don’t normally give you one. I say it’s because they don’t want you to know they are overcharging you, but they say it’s wasting paper. Walleye is $18 on the menu, but $20 on the bill. I was overcharged three weeks ago, and said something to the manager. He gave me a drink chip, and did not fix the computer. Also I gave them a drink chip tonight, yet they still charged me for the drink on the bill!
