First time here and was pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed it. Other family members had tried it and were happy with the food and service.
We had cheese curds which were tasty and not greasy! South Western wrap was excellent and fries were good. The Casa de queso burger and French Dip were huge hits!
Our servers were super friendly and service was fast and efficient! Manager was checking in with customers and televisions were on to watch NFL playoff game!
Drinks were good and the Spotted Cow was wonderful!

Service was good. Beer selection is decent. Food was also good, had the burger with waffle fries. Burger was good. For how close this is to the hotels, this is great.

Edit: From that response that the manager posted, I think I will change my review from two star to one. I have never met a more passive aggressive restaurant owner. We would never come back even if she offered a gift card. The portions were super small and just not worth what they’re charging. This place is bad news all around.

I did not expect to be lectured by the manager. I received ice cold toppings on my nachos. I wasn’t going to say anything. But the manager could tell I wasn’t really happy when I said everything was ok.
She offered to remake my order for me when I spoke up and said my food was cold, soggy and straight from the fridge. They remade it. But upon returning to my table I got an unnecessary lecture. Apparently vegetables have water and I’m supposed to just get over that. Pardon?
All I wanted was warm food. I got, cold as ice food. Both times.
Stay far away from this place. I literally could have gotten better food at Taco Bell. At least it would be warm. Aye aye aye…
You can tell how cold it was because the cheese isn’t even melted.

It was -25°C in Verona, and this was our second dinner in town. We found this grill and bar about a 10 mins drive from our hotel. So we decided to visit. There was plenty of space to park in front of the bar. The atmosphere was great and the place was bustling with a full house. The people were friendly and we got a corner table near the window.
We ordered cheese curds (a must-have in Wisconsin) and an 8 oz steak ( medium cooked), two burgers and two IPAs along with some cocktails. I’m sorry to say that the steak was really dry and not up to standard at all. It was chewy, and even the beef burger was too dry. The cheese curds were okay.
We liked the vibe of the restaurant, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the meats.

Memorial Day weekend. Worked all day Sunday. Was tired. Decided on paddy Mac’s in Verona to get some chicken “tenders”. They were not tender whatsoever. They were tough like a piece of boot leather. The service (Luke) was great. Very nice guy. The food however was not good. Even the air fryer at home couldn’t bring the fries back to life. The chicken… was not edible. I will NOT be eating here again. As a business that serves food, you can’t charge almost 20$ for 4 leather chicken tenders and soggy fries and expect to continue being successful. I’m not trying to be a jerk. Just being honest. Sorry not sorry.

Came in as I was at a local conference and it’s the nearest restur to my hotel. Been a few times before when traveling as well. Servers have always been friendly and generally attentive. Food is decent and fair variety. Drinks are good and alot of offerings off their liquor menu. Worth a stop if your in the area.

SO GRATEFUL for Jen— an amazing bartender and a PERFECT representative of Verona/Wisconsin hospitality! A group of 8ish of us in town for a puppetry festival/conference (yes, you read that right…) were looking for a place to raise a glass on our last night in town— and found ourselves at Paddy Mac’s. A great lil hole in the wall type of bar. They have an impressive bourbon selection for the type of bar it is. Service is great from the cooks, to the bartenders, and to everyone around. Everyone is friendly. This is easily one of those bars that make you feel like you’re at your home bar away from home if that makes sense.
