It wasn’t nasty at all it was pretty decent. The effort. Was there I even received my plate of food warm. The staff deserved 5 stars really friendly and patient. Especially the guy at the register great customer service skills. The food was not nasty but it could have been better. Gotta marinate the chicken in jerk longer than that or it’s only going to be okay.

Friendly staff, yummy breakfast sandwich, good coffee. For a café, I was surprised by the rudimentary to-go creamers and sugars which gave it a bit of a hotel feel in my opinion. Not a five star review for me only because of lack of ideal location and unique ambience but other than that, good place with good food. Will come back and try lunch!

I had a wonderful experience today at Caribbean Joe’s Cafe. It was my very first time there and I ordered a fried shrimp plate, which came with fries. The lady who waited on us was very kind and pleasant! The food was VERY fresh!!! The plump & juicy shrimp were fried to perfection and the fries were perfect and just overall tasty and fresh too. I’m picky about cocktail sauce, but I tried it with my shrimp and was just blown away by how it complimented the shrimp so well! Yum yum! I saw awesome reviews about this place but man OH man… nothing compared to actually being able to enjoy the yumminess myself! I will definitely be returning to try many more things on the menu. Such a hidden gem! Thanks Caribbean Joe’s! A+ for sure❣❣❣

food wasnt what i expeced, ordered a grit bowl, eggs were burnt, grits watery. this isnt first time food wasnt prepared as ordered, its either overcooked or refried, preparing with old food that has probably sat for hours, its close to my job but isnt worth it lately, maybe new staff
