This place is great. My husband has been going here for years and has gotten me hooked. Portions are generous and the food is delicious, especially their plantains. There was a mixup with our order and the owner kindly fixed it quickly and efficiently without fuss. So thankful to have a lovely mom and pop so close by.

This place is TAKEOUT ONLY now, no dine in. Food comes out fast and hot. However, it is mediocre at best. Ordered chicken curry – – Not a whole lot of spice and flavors, even the extra hot sauce on the side tasted more like vinegar than chilli. Willing to give it another try… Maybe the jerk chicken is where they excel.

The food is fresh and delicious, the service is excellent, the owners are very friendly. If you don’t order ahead, you will have to wait a little bit, which is a good thing. This food is so fresh it taste like your grandma just whipped it up, except that is exactly what happened. They make everything mouthwateringly fresh and the food is sublimely delicious. For a whole $15 I have loaded, french fries with jerk beef with a portion size enough to last me three meals. You can go to Wendy’s and spend that much and get nothing. That’s the other thing about this place, the prices are incredibly reasonable. This is a family owned amazing place to go and the girl always has a smile on her face. Definitely don’t miss this place! Your loss if you do!! Yummmmm

I’ve never had this kind of food before but this is hands down the best food we’ve had in VB so far. We’ve been living here just under 6 months and it’s just exactly the kind of flavorful food we’ve been looking for. Even my 11 month old son loved it, can’t wait to come back & try more.

Nice spot, cool vibe. Service was pleasant. Orders done through kiosk or app and not much standing room inside. Be prepared to wait in your vehicle until your order is ready. Food was made to order and worth the wait. I wish it was closer to me but I will get there when I can.

The setup has changed since I last visited. It is no longer a dine in restaurant. It’s carryout only. It’s not a bad thing. Grab some food and find a place to sit by the water. There is a river, a lake, an inlet an ocean and a bay within five minutes from here. So your food won’t even be cold when you get there. Now let me tell you about the food. Everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorite it the Jerk Chicken Burrito. It’s huge by the way and loaded with meat cabbage with rice and beans. The jerk chicken is tender and bursting with flavor. The coco milk rice and beans are a good balance of flavor and an excellent add on in the burrito. My other choice is the Cuban Calypso. It’s loaded with pork and bacon on a nice sized piece of cocobread and pressed. This thing is so damn good! So if you are by there and lucky enough to catch them open. Stop in and grab some food to go. I promise you will not be disappointed. Hell even Guy loved it!

Cute small space just enough to place your order. The woman who greeted us was attentive and asked if we had any questions before ordering. Wasn’t a terribly long wait, and everything came out fresh. I will definitely make the drive across the water to come back!

Great. Spicy jerk chicken. Hot ham and cheese sandwiches for cheap on good fresh bread(this the cheap ham and cheese sammich rather than the specialty sandwiches). And good plantains, served nice and hot. The jerk chicken was juicy chunks of chicken, not dry at all. On the saucier side, sweet with good spicy kick to it, not too weak on the spicy level which I like.
