My fiance and I go to all Carbone’s restaurants for the ultimate dining experience. The food is delicious and always consistent. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is intimate and romantic. These restaurants are family-owned and the Hartford location has been open since 1938. It formally became Carbone’s in 1961. It certainly shows that this family knows how to run a successful restaurant. We love supporting local restaurants and insist that you visit this place for a wonderful night of culinary excellence.

The waiter was very attentive. Kept plenty of drinks on the table and took away plates quickly. This place is newer with a modern theme and atmosphere. Bar area huge and has a big happy hour crowd.

Finally a lovely dinner with my sister. The decor is nice and cozy. The bread, the drinks, the appetizers and main dishes were delicious! Our server AJ was fantastic. Very professional, friendly, and attentive. We will be back again.

OMG! This has to the best place to eat in Ct hands down. Came with a party of 10 for my daughter’s birthday. Absolutely beautiful place. The food was delicious and our server Lance was the best server I’ve had in 5yrs. The food came out hot and in great time. We probably tried 85% of the menu and every item that hit the table we had to order another cause it was so good. Highly recommend making a reservation! P.S try the waffle dessert, it’s absolutely amazing.

Food is great, but DON’T sit in the bar area! Our only option was a high top table in the bar area, so we took it. There isn’t a lot of space on those tables, but we made do ok.

We hosted a small (35-40 people) lunch there and it went great. The staff was amazing, they happily took care of everything and went above and beyond for us. We could not thank them enough. The food was also great, everyone would not stop raving about it. Would happily have another event there!

5/27/23 went in for dinner with my father and girlfriend. Over the Memorial Day weekend I noticed on my credit card the total was 5$ more. Could you imagine my frustration?! Call the place and had a conversation with the manager, initially they had the gall to tell me no that the credit card fraud committed by the server was CORRECT. on-top of stealing from me, credit card fraud, the server now is adding forgery of a signature. Little do they know is, I take photos of my receipt of everywhere I go to avoid scenarios like these. Upon arrival of the restaurant the manager present me with the excuse: “oh it must of been the reservation before you and he entered the numbers incorrectly and he must of been busy, it happens” and then proceeded to tell me I was correct I was overcharged. The troubling point was the same sever, Sammy, was over the managers shoulder whispering what’s happening and then shrug his shoulders once told. IF this server (Sammy) truly made a mistake why not come over apologize?! Instead he strolled away looking for his next victim. The issue was resolved but now I question the integrity of the servers, maybe only the originals is worth going too.
