This place boasts that the locals eat here. Going in mid December, it seemed like we were the only ones from out of town. The food was mediocre, some was tasty, but I can’t remember eating such greasy food before. We will not be going back. The crab cake was flat like a pancake, but my husband said it had good flavor. The cheese steak tasted okay, but was dripping grease. The onion rings tasted good, but I couldn’t eat some as they were saturated in grease. At the beginning of the meal, you got fried “something” but was so greasy, we didn’t eat more than a couple. My husband was not impressed with the coating g on the scallops. Maybe we were there with a new chef, we didn’t ask. I would recommend something that wasn’t fried. We can highly recommend the restaurant next door, Cox’s Family Restaurant.

Great place to grab a good meal at a reasonable price. We took a party of 10 in for dinner. The waitstaff was flawless. I believe Nadia was her name. Food was good and worth the value. The atmosphere was fun and bright. Just a pleasant experience all around. Go check it out!

BUTTERY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH FLOUNDER.
Omg this place is amazing. The shrimp, the flounder, fried oysters amazing. I have never ate fish that just melts in your mouth when you take a bite.
Large portions, great service, and delicious food.
Don’t let the picture fool you there is a good portion of shrimp under that meaty flounder.
Mac and cheese is very mid but other than that everything else is good.
BUT if you are looking for over seasoned fish this place is not it. The breading has seasoning but you’re not going to taste Cajun and old bay all over. In my opinion I don’t like all that seasoning. This place puts you in the mind frame of Dixie queen in Greenville when it USE to be good but BETTER.
I cannot wait to go back!

Super good! Filled with locals being greeted by name. The crab cake was smoky & delicious. My wife’s fried shrimp was cooked perfectly and we both agreed they had the best hush puppies we’ve ever had. They are open for breakfast too so looking forward to that. Highly recommended!

Outstanding service from waitress Sydney! The owner did a phenomenal job preparing our meals & the seafood combos were perfectly fried. As a Sr. Culinary Manager over 25 yrs, I highly recommend trying Captains Table!

Started off with tasty hushpuppies. 3 of us had the $16.99 Shrimp special, unlimited shrimp and sides. First batch was grilled then lightly battered for the next. Tarter sauce was home made awesome sauce! Cocktail sauce was way too hot but good. We had the sauteed spinach, fried, slaw, mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms. 1 of us had chicken tenders. Everything was great. When we got there Ashley was the only waitress and we had to wait awhile. She was very sweet, apologizing for the wait. Then a couple other girls came in and Ally helped wait on us too. Great job girls! Great place to eat! May come by for breakfast in the morning on our way home and will eat here next time we’re in town.

Yuuuuummmmm! Every bite of everything I tried was amazing. The chowder is perfection. I don’t usually enjoy fried okra, but the okra here made a believer outta me. The prices are fair too. Oh, and the mascot: a shrimp holding a plate of fish. Beautiful. A menu item offering you another menu item. They said his name is Brody.

We (6 adults, 2 kids) are visiting Emerald Isle and found this place here on Google while looking for a good seafood place in the area.
We arrived at dinnertime and was initially concerned because the place looked small and wouldn’t be able to accommodate our bigger party. Turns out, they have a room toward the back for bigger parties like us so it worked out well.
Nadia was our server and she was excellent! We ordered our food and it came out hot and fast. The portions are really big and the price is affordable compared to other seafood places we looked up. We were happy we chose this restaurant and highly recommend them!
