Every time we visit we MUST get a shrimp burger. It’s on our minds before we get on the island. We seem to order more every time we visit. The prices are spot on and the food is well portioned and fantastic. From the shrimp on the burgers to the grouper to the fried pickles everything is breaded and fried just right. It’s the tastiest thing after a day in the water. The family leaves full and happy. Bring cash if you come and the line can get long so know that.

It’s your local attraction, their shrimp burgers have a lot of fried shrimp with decent flavor, you can order it with coleslaw. If you order fries make sure you eat them while they are hot, they are good but get very soggy when cold. We tried the crab burger, comes with the crab patty, a bit of their crab dip. That one was very tasty. The parking lot it’s big, they have a sign so you will not miss it! Recommend it!

The Captain’s Kitchen food truck is a great place to get a fresh, good, and reasonably priced seafood snack or take out eats. We typically visit when they’re at Indian Beach not far from our house and the services is always fast and friendly. The prices are very fair, hard to beat on the island. Bring cash as they don’t do cards, but there is an ATM nearby at either site they setup. We’ve had nearly all the seafood items on the menu and have not been disappointed. Grouper sandwich, super shrimp burger, oysters and more, as long as you are good with some fried seafood you’ll find something tasty.

Great Seafood! Ordered combination of three with Soft Shell Crab, Crab Cake and Shrimp! Wow, the crab cake was delicious and one of the best I have had, the soft shell crabs cooked perfectly and the shrimp yummy. It comes with containers of Cole slaw, fries and hush puppies with a special sauce for the crab cake. The pic I have posted is only a portion of seafood I received! There was another soft shell crab left and twice as much shrimp remaining! Don’t hesitate to try the Captains Kitchen! You will love it!
