The kids & I love their food!! (Hubby is not a fan.) The food is fresh and delicious. They do not have fountain sodas – but have cans. Staff is friendly. Service can be a little slow. Building is nicely decorated and clean. They have pictures of the menu on the TVs throughout the restaurant – helpful to see the different dishes.

My girlfriend and I frequent this place about 2 times per month. Green Papaya is so special to us. The staff is so nice, the place is kept very clean, the atmosphere is relaxing and unique, and the food is so hearty. I’ve travelled all over the country for work visiting other pho places and I still prefer Green Papaya to all the others. They make fried rice in some special way that is so much more flavorful than other places along with sautéed pork dishes that are to die for. I’m not vegetarian, but they have great tofu options that even I get on occasion. I know I’m starting to sound like an advertisement but I just genuinely love this place and I think everyone should give it a shot.

While in Fort Smith for the day we wanted to try this place because of their reviews. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. The staff are very efficient at getting people seated and orders taken. We started with the green papaya salad which was pretty good. I would have liked it a little more spicy and more peanut. The meat was excellent. I then had the Steamed Rice with Chicken and egg roll. The egg roll was the best I have ever had, I am not a fan of egg rolls. The rice was very good but the chicken was way over cooked. I believe my wife had the combination flat noodle bowl and absolutely loved it. Price was fair and service was excellent.

The food is delicious! We had the shrimp spring rolls with an amazing peanut sauce and both had giant bowls of Pho that was fresh and tasty! But the real treat is the service. They could not be more welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Green Papaya on Grand Ave last month! I had been before, but this is my first review. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. Lots of natural light! The staff was friendly and attentive. I believe I ordered the 35, with tofu. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the number very well! I really, really enjoyed my food. I was heading back to a work event and wasn’t able to take my leftovers. If I would have been able to take them, I probably would have had enough for two more meals! The portions are extremely generous! I highly recommend!! Thank you, Green Papaya!

Amazing food and service! The crab rangoons were so delicious! I also ordered the #24 fried rice plate and it was so good and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Great eats at a very affordable price. The service is top-tier and the atmosphere is really cozy. Wonderful pictures of Disney characters line the walls.

The fresh spring rolls were great. Everything else was just “okay”. Service was awful and it wasn’t because they were busy b/c there was only one other customer in there at the time. We never saw our waiter again after we got our plates and our drinks were empty the 2nd half of our meal. On our way out, I said thank you to the ladies at the front counter and neither said a word to me. We had high expectations after looking at reviews before going here, but were disappointed with the whole experience and won’t be going back.

First, I wish could give a 3.5. The food is good. Served quickly too. Had the lemongrass chicken and the shrimp spring rolls. See pics. All were good, chicken was cooked well but not over cooked. Veggies were good too. Peanut sauce was very good for the spring rolls. The wrapper was chewy but not overly so. These are the good things.
The not so good: first I was “greeted” by a young man with his back to the door talking on the phone and leaning on the counter. I stood there for several minutes while he continued his conversation. It was not an order being taken. The waitress bringing in an order for the kitchen had to tell him had a customer. He turned and gave a slightly disgusted expression as he had to hang up and do his job. He grabbed a menu and took to a booth. Dropped the menu on the table and left. Went back to phone. Not impressed at all his attitude and lost a full star because of it.
The older waitress was super nice. Possibly owner. She took my drink and then my order. Like I said came quick.
The food overall was good but I expected to have more lemongrass flavor to the chicken and it was covered in a thin very sweet, clear sauce with a bit of spice to it. While not bad tasting it was overly sweet and not good for anyone that will need watch sugars so beware. The spring rolls need carrot for color and flavor and crunch factor. Finally the peanut sauce had the red chi sauce and while it wasn’t a lot it should be served separate from the peanut sauce on the side. I had to use spoon to remove.

This is our go to place for long trips. We usually stop to eat here. The food is generally really good. The fried rice we ordered was way too dry. The other dishes were good. Simple and flavorful. I would return and I would recommend others to visit if you are in Fort Smith.
