This shrimp salad beats my own! Hands down. Whole shrimp – tastes great and seems like the perfect ratio of ingredients. The crab imperial twins were perfect! The crabcakes are good. Service was very friendly and fast! I can see this being the neighborhood go to for shrimp and crabcakes. And that crab imperial!

We were told these were the best cakes in Ocean City so we had to try them.
We weren’t told wrong! Huge chunks of crab, minimal filler, and super tasty.
5/5
Also tried the pasta salad. Had a bit of a vinegar base to it , needed a little flavor. Thankfully we had season salt at our condo. 3/5
The Mac ‘n cheese looked really delicious online. It didn’t let us down, either. Though, like the pasta salad, we had to add a little seasoning. 4/5
Crab bites sounded like a good addition to our meal. We’ve had these at a few other places the past weeks. We are happy to report that you also have the best crab bites in OC. 5/5
Thanks for the delicious, superb meal! Already looking forward to next year.

This this place has the best crab cakes we’ve ever had. Not just a little better, incredible crab cakes. Every bite has another massive chunk of crab meat in it. Very tasty.
We also got crab legs, which were delicious and lots of meat in them. My bacon-wrapped scallops were also phenomenal.
It’s a small shop, from what I understand and old pizza place, so there’s only four tables available, so keep that in mind, if you’re looking to dine in. We liked this place so much, we are there twice within a 4 day trip to OC.
This place knocks it out of the park.

Every time we’re in the Rehoboth Beach/Ocean City area, we make it a point to stop in. The crab cakes are delicious – no filler like you find elsewhere, just huge chunks of crab meat. The staff that we’ve encountered are always very friendly and helpful. It’s clear that these folks take pride in what they do, and they do it well! Do yourself a favor and stop in for some crab cakes; you won’t regret it.

Was looking for some place with crabcakes on one of our trips to ocean city and came across this place (and even though it didn’t have many reviews- it was highly rated).
Located in the Food Lion parking lot off of the highway but we missed the turn the first time around. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot.
There isn’t much seating, maybe 4-5 seats- I think most people carry-out. They close a bit on the earlier side (7pm).
First things first, their crab cake is packed with meat and a great value! Their hush puppies were *chefs kiss*.
We got the Crabcake and CrabLegs ($39), Crabcake and Scallops ($32) – which both came with a side. We got the Mac N Cheese- which was the epitome of comfort food, and the potato wedges- which was a bit of a let down, it seemed like it might’ve been old- cold as well.
The scallops came a bit later because they apparently read the ticket wrong but it was cold in the middle. We let them know, and they were apologetic and put the same thing we gave them back in the oven and gave it back to us. Appreciated the apology, but I think if we got new scallops (not the one we took a bite of and spit out) it would’ve been five stars.
Their drinks are not fountain and from a bottle.
Despite the little hiccups, would return and try again!

Stopped by this small local restaurant and tried their crab cakes. They were nicely cooked with a good amount of crab meat and not too much filler. The seasoning was subtle and the texture just right. Service was friendly, and the place had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. A solid choice if you’re in the area and enjoy crab cakes.

Luckily stumbled on this gem on Saturday. The food and service are 5 star. The crab cakes are the best I’ve had at a restaurant. The wine cake brought back memories of my mother’s cakes. Don’t let the strip mall location and small seating area dissuade you. This is a place you’ll want to visit as much as you can. Hats off to the owners and staff. I had a friend visiting from Midwest. She had never had a true Maryland crab cake. She was amazed and commented that if she lived her she’d want to visit restaurant 1/week. I had the sandwich (photo) and you can see it’s mostly lump crab. My friend had crab cake special which included a piece of wine cake. I ate the bum and tomato separately to enjoy crab cake alone. The “galley” sauce has a blue cheese base. Definitely worth trying if you’re there. Enjoy!

Used to go to the Captain’s Galley II restaurant several times a year, they had what I always considered the absolute best, all lump crab cakes anywhere. Restaurant closed down several years ago and I was heartbroken. Searched the eastern shore high and low and nothing ever really scratched that itch and replaced them. This year for Xmas my mom got me a four pack delivered and I am a happy man. Just like I remember, fresh tasting all lump no filler and just perfection. I am happy this recipe survived and was brought back. Wish you guys continued success and will see you in the summer.
Thanks!!
Edit:
Dropped in today (7/26), grabbed a handful of crabcakes to go. So good, thanks!

Crab cakes are fresh. Try the spicy crab options. Salads were good too. Not enough place to sit indoor. Looks mostly a takeout place. Popular among locals.

Top quality crab cake for those in the area. Cannot be beat, especially for the price! Lobster bisque is fantastic as well. The fries are as good if not better than Johnny’s in Salisbury for those who have been there. They are winners for being some of the best in OC and the food is a testament to that. 10/10, would visit again and recommend to anyone!
