Received under cooked shrimp and called the resturant to speak with manager who said to bring the food in. The manager upon arrival said that the 20.00 I spent could not be refunded. Then went on further to say that the 20.00 could not be substituted for something else dollar for dollar. Not only did I drive back there but to hold my money hostage. Horrible experience. It’s not my fault I didn’t cook the food. Unacceptable…someone needs to fix this 501 Wayne Rd.

I ordered two fish sandwiches and a side of Okra but they only gave me one sandwich. I went back in and informed them and the lady told me it was there was a wait on the Perch fish. I requested to get all fresh food considering my fish sandwich and okra were going to be cold. The cashier told me best she could do is keep my food in the warmer. I will never go back to Captain Jays any location but the location on Middlebelt near Michigan is the worst ever. Not to mention the headquarters is really close to this locations so you would think it would have better service.

I received terrible customer service at the Evergreen location. A 15 minute order took 1 hour. I was told I didn’t place the order, then it was found, I was told that I didn’t order what was clearly written on the slip. Then I was told that as an Old person I needed to set an example for the young people. Not asking for him to be fired just properly trained. You have lost a loyal customer

I purchased a managers special#2 that included a 20 piece whole chickens, fries, and a 2L pop which is what they advertise on there window next to the cashier is. Mind you I have purchased this same makers special twice! She tried to up charge me for a Sierra Mist and tried to say it’s only for Faygo pop, even though the sign clearly just says 2L Pop! The cashier decided that she wanted to argue with me which is HORRIBLE customer service!!!! I will NEVER return to ANY Captain Jay’s EVER! I wanted to share this with everyone so the will already know the type of service they will receive.

Multiple items were missing from my order. Staff was unprofessional. Waited for 15 min to get our order and when I went back to get missing items 2 of the workers were leaned on the counter on there phones while there was people lined up in the drive thru. Macaroni and cheese was pulled from a chill fridge and mashed potatoes were flavorless. Very disappointed. That was my first and last visit.

The worst service ever at the Taylor location at 10257 S. Telegraph in Taylor. Chicken looked and tasted like it was left over from the day before and then microwaved. The cashier took my money and walked off without a explanation for about 10 minutes. Then returned with my change. They need to close the place PERIOD. It was my first and LAST visit.

I was at the location at 22711 Kelly in east point Michigan. I had a two piece fish and it was horrible it tasted like it was cooked in old grease and it was hard. That was on 7/21/2020 order # 193186. My older came to $5.29 I gave her a ten dollar bill and thirty cents in change. she gave me back four dollars and wanted to argue that
I was supposed to only get back four dollars back in change.

Today I visited the store in Taylor on telegraph Road I ordered jumbo shrimp seven piece with fries I got home and open my order up and they were small shrimp I called back up to the store and was telling them that I didn’t appreciate that they didn’t get my order correct I asked to speak to the manager and was told she didn’t have a manager I said who do you file a complaint with she said I don’t know I said let me speak to the manager she then put the manager on the phone he said he would replace my order make sure I come back with my receipt first of all I had just left the drive-through and the man that was on the phone was the one that serviced me and took my order so he knew that I was just at their location I don’t appreciate every time we visit Captain Jay’s they cannot get the order straight and then they don’t want to honor your order I’m going to make sure I let everybody know the customer service that’s given to me in this particular location and I won’t be patronizing them again.I am so mad they charge you for what you get and you don’t get it I’ve been to this location several times and I’ve had a few problems but I never complain I’m complaining because I didn’t appreciate when I asked who can I file a complaint with I was told they didn’t know Twitter here I come I’m tired of when you go out to eat somewhere people are rude to you what happened to good customer service.

I wish I could have given the captain Jay’s on 19041 seven mile and vandyke a 0 star. I have never eaten at captain Jays and because of the window employee I never will. I pulled up and I guess I took to long to figure out what I want. When i said hello due to not hearing her she responds in a very rude manner “HOW CAN I HELP YOU? I SAID HOW CAN I HELP YOU LIKE 4 TIMES ALREADY” I dont deal with rude people because I’m not rude so I pulled off. She cost your company a very valuable customer per her attitude.

I was late for work cuz they didn’t know how to cook the shrimp. And they had me waiting for a good 40 minutes. On top of that… the banana pudding wasn’t even cold and is legit just pudding!? Like last time I got it and there was bananas and wafers! Corporate needs to go in and actually take care of the whole situation cuz it is totally unacceptable!
