At our St Ann, MO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Poor customer service, staff was not welcoming, they are pulling drivers to the parking lot to have them wait on the food they ordered, The reason they are doing this is to keep their drive through time down so it looks good in corporate eyes even though they need the help. Not the right style of leadership I think it is completely unprofessional, to have customers come through a drive thru line and tell them to park and wait for there food. I understand it’s cook to order so if we have to wait in line that is more acceptable. Staff is not in uniform, young lady that had long red braids was exhausted from walking back and forth and didn’t want to be at work at all a lot of eye rolls maybe retrain or rehire staff. Was debating if I should’ve just got a refund and went elsewhere. 7:42pm unacceptable do better.

Just left there I sit at menu board for 5 minutes car behind me went around to the window. I ask 3 times anyone there I ask very nice no response so I pull around lady taking order of car that went around me and giving me dirty looks. If she spent half her time working as she did on that stupid wig she was wearing this would probably be good place to eat. Was gonna go inside to let her know but inside closed this place is a joke food sucks service sucks and apparently the owner sucks to cause it never changes do not eat here ever so bad

Went there expecting good food fast and that’s not what happened. They first forgot our straws, then forgot half of my daughters order, then gave me regular tea instead of sweet tea. Also the food hardly filled up the container meaning I had just a couple of fries with my fish. We had to wait a long time for our food going to the drive thru I wouldn’t recommend!

I went here to pick up some food for my friend. I went through the drive through and the service was prompt, friendly and professional. I ordered the 10 PC fish meal with fries and corn as the sides. Since I am not used to ordering from here I didn’t realize how big the portions were. I was very pleased to see that there were 4 full sized corn on the cob included as a side. I was expecting 4 half of cobs and so I ordered two extra cobs. Anyway, I did pay a little over $40 for the food, but it truly was worth it. The food was made fresh and it was delicious. It fed a family of four plus there were left overs. I will be returning soon.

Me and my friend went to this location and we both had the 5.99 meal with shrimp,cole slaw,french fries a piece of fish and some hush puppies…It was terrible,it had this no so good taste to it and the food was dark not like it was cooked in some new cooking oil…I did take it to the counter and it was done over the same way…The fries and cole slaw were the only (2) food items that were good out of this meal…We had said that we won’t go back to this location at all

The food was very good I really love the fish coleslaw and those hush puppies,and fries yummy yummy yum love it dear. So my dear they did go up in price like the world did after the covert and the pandemic of sickness. Well that sickness is still hanging around but we still need to be careful around people trying to stay safe but all is well thank GOD the pandemic has cool down a lot. We are eating out more the food is really yummy, I love Captain D’s good food .

05~19~22 Went to this location today for lunch. The inside was closed for some reason, so I went through the drive thru. When I got to the speaker, the first thing I heard in a fast speed was, “Go ahead with your order.” No “Hello, may I help you?” I knew this would be an interesting visit. The whole time at the speaker, the girl was talking in a rushed manner. Very unfriendly. When I got to the window to pay, again, no “hello,” only an order total. She had these terrible Venus Flytrap eyelashes so I knew this wouldn’t go well. She handed me back my debit card, closed the window, and I sat for about ten minutes. She was leaning on the counter, assumingly playing with her phone, walked to fill a tea jug, and back to lean and do nothing. I knew nothing that was going on with my order. Just sat as the rain began to fall. Finally, when my food was ready , she handed me the bag, no eye contact, and said in a fast and non-empathetic tone, “Sorry about the wait.” I asked who the store manager was, general manager was and she said, “Me!” I put my head on my steering wheel saying, ” Oh God!” I asked what her name was and she said, “Ariana.” I bet. Cuz the service was a Grande mess!! It is true……good service is hard to come by. Sheesh!

Went there May 3rd 2019. Was served raw shrimp and uncooked pasta (shrimp scampi). Took the food back and got something else. Didn’t get a refund just charged me twice and said to call the number on receipt. Called number many times and customer service said that someone was supposed to call back and e-mail me. Never happened! Charged my card $40, twice for the same meal plus the replacement. Never got a refund!! Just nasty food! Look at this picture of what they served me!! My experience today 9/14/22 was a pretty good one, the manager was on her A game and the young men working the kitchen were very diligent, I would definitely return! *** Edit 4/16/23 5pm I don’t know what happened in 7 months but the service and food quality have gone down! I don’t understand places that get upset because you arrived to place an order? Shouldn’t you be happy to see customers? That is how your company thrives I would think… Sad how it went downhill!
