A good, quick source for fried fish. This location has some of the best and friendliest staff that I have encountered in a fast food chain. The fish is served hot, a bit greasy but that is how it’s cooked here. Hushpuppies and Cole slaw are good but fries were average. I like this chain and particularly this location. No – don’t want it every day, but when I’m craving fried white fish – this is my go to place. Tip – not the place for catfish.

The manager has a bad attitude. Digs and picks at her face while preparing the food and doesn’t wear gloves like I believe servers should. Will not eat there again as long as she is employed with them. She is bad for business. Very,very, very rude. Makes a person feel foolish for spending their hard earned money at this place. Acts as if “how dare you come on my job and expect me to actually work.” This place gives a different meaning to the phase dine-in, should stay home and dine in your kitchen. Adults should know how to interact with others when they take a job of this nature. Some people don’t deserve the opportunity that they have. I’m sure that I am not the only person that she has been rude to or has witnessed her serving food without gloves. Photos included.

Best experience I had at this establishment today. While at the drive thru Mr. Steele treated me with the upmost courtesy and made me feel welcomed. Bad experiences in the past, but look forward to going back now. Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Every time I’ve tried to order from here has been a bad experience typically, it’s just been the attitude of the workers but today was awful. I ordered my food well before I got to the store because. it always takes a while to get things ready when I got there. I told him that I had a mobile order and I told him the name, though staff at the window handed me out to go bag. I told her I had two plates and she only gave me one at this point the manager came to the window and asked what name I told her and she said it hadn’t come through yet. I pulled the order from the app and showed her that I ordered it over 20 minutes ago and ask how long it typically comes, but it takes to come through. She rolled her eyes at me and left the window. about 30 seconds later the other employee comes back with a bag of two plates. I should’ve checked, so I suppose it’s on me, but I did not and when I got to my husband‘s workplace with the food, the order was completely wrong. I had ordered fish with fries and slaw and I’ve gotten him the largest shrimp plate with fries and broccoli. We got two orders of fish and fries and coleslaw. The sauce were missing from the bag. It’s just a bad experience every time I go the surly attitude of the staff, both managers and other employees it’s just awful to deal with.

I ordered ahead on the app. The food was ready when I went to pick it up. I ordered salmon with rice and double broccoli. The broccoli tasted fine, but wasn’tdoubled. The rice was hard and barely there. The salmon was fine.

Been going to Captain D’s all my life and have always gotten the stuff crab dinner. Was basically telling me I couldn’t have that unless I paid for the stuffed crabs individually. Or I could get the seafood platter and add stuffed crabs individually. At this point, I was aggravated and didn’t order anything and left. What once was my favorite fast food seafood place has now put a sour taste in my mouth. It has to just be a new employee. Hattiesburg store sucks!!! Go to Gulfport they rock!!

The blonde haired manager there is definitely not good for business. The service is pretty good considering. This is someone who I have never ever seen smile, Never thank you for choosing our restaurant. Just looks at you and says “What’s the name?”… She definitely is not friendly, and to be perfectly honest with you I feel sorry for the employees there…….

DON’T GO TO CAPTAIN D’s. The manger was very rude and had a bad attitude the whole time the older black man did nothing but yell and not listen to a word I said. But the general manger the white older lady is no better every time I see her truck I know not to come in. The employees were on their phone and not ready to take my order. When i finally got my food it was hard I will never come to this establishment again and wouldn’t recommend you to.

The unprofessional employee that worked the drive thru during my lunch break NEED to be fired. She has a very stinking attitude that she need to throw in the trash . I pulled up to place my order for the fish sandwich meal, I asked her can it be cooked longer that normal. She didn’t answer, instead she gave me my total & instructed me to drive around. She had my order ready when she got my card. I asked for her name so I can report her and she closed the window and walked off. She was a extra large Caucasian woman wearing a orange shirt and she had short hair. My order was not correct. I was presses for time to get back to work therefore I couldn’t go inside to get my order corrected. I will not patronize Captain D’s again.

The manager was very rude to the customers all the other employees were very sweet but she was just very rude did not smile as I can I help you in a very rude way and then walked off before you even got your receipt from her and it wasn’t busy but the Kooks did a really good job
