Usually have loved there food but tryed a shredded beef tostada today to go. Well I was pretty disappointed it was a pile a mush, to much liquid in meat for tostada’s not sure what went wrong today. Love there taquitos. Next time I’ll try the carna sada tostada.

We are new to the Hidden-Valley-Lake area and are so completely elated to have found this little gem!!! We went during happy hour so service was just Little slow, nothing to complain about at all, and especially after receiving our order!!! I had the wet carne asada super Burrito, and man oh man it was very good, home made tortilla, also chips made in house came with complementary bwana dip, and the salsa was fresh and tasty! Wife had the shredded chicken Burrito said it was also very good. We will definitely be back as this is now the closest Mexican near our new home. Highly recommend if I’m the area.

Placed an order to go. Picked up my order and it was the wrong order. I was asked to bring the food back, thinking my original order was there. When I arrived, they said they had to make the order all over again. Waited for the food, got home and all the food was cold. I asked to talk to the owner and apparently he’s only there on Saturdays. I will not be going back.

Got to this gem 20 minutes before closing. They graciously still served us. We ordered a bunch of food, tacos, fajitas, and the Diablo shrimp. Everything came out hot and sssoooo delicious. The staff didn’t complain about us being there past closing. Such hospitality is extremely difficult to find these days.

I ordered the Combination Plate, Chile Relleno & Taco (shredded beef). The Chile Relleno had a mole type sauce on it that I thought was delicious. The Taco came with a very generous amount of shredded beef. On the side was a surprising amount of pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce, sour cream and cucumber, in addition to the beans and rice.
All n all…it was a great meal with a very competitive price. I’ll go back again.

They probably have the best carne asada burrito in Lake County. It used to be self-made billiards, but this place is better. Service is very slow, so expect to wait a little bit for your food.

The food is always great. My dad was visiting from out of state and he hasn’t had any good Mexican food in a few years. He almost cried when he took his first bite. The service is good most of the time I had one bad experience but she may have just had an off night. The atmosphere is cozy and very festive.
