At our Quincy, FL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Hummm…I don’t know what to say. Captain D’s the quality of your meats has gone down. The catfish was so thin, all I had was the batter that got stuck in my throat. Do better with your foods. For the price we pay, give us what it’s worth. For a 4 piece fish dinner the amount of French fries is for one person only, not two. The next time I patronize your restaurant I will take a photo and post it. I assume there will be condiments in the bag, nothing!

That’s were it ends… We weren’t the only ones that had orders not rung up correctly with overcharge. We weren’t the only ones that didn’t receive what we ordered. No one received spoons, forks or knives as they didn’t have any.
From the beginning of our meal until about 30 minutes after we had finished, no one could sort out how to fix our check with the added items we didn’t order. I finally told them, just give it to me.
I’m not saying I won’t go again because the fish was prepared perfectly. However, I will scrutinize what I’m being charged for and bring my own fork
