I was charged twice for my order – now what?
The sandwich looked good but I didn’t try it because it was made with cheese and onions even though I removed them on my app order. A refund was processed but not before I received a second charge for the same amount.
The duplicate charge was never reversed, refunded, nor even acknowledged by Capriotti’s Help Desk. They stated that they did not see it on their end. The documentation that I provided (screenshots) showing both charges did nothing to convince them that it exists.
This issue was escalated on their end with no change. They repeated the same thing that they don’t see a second charge. My bank inquired about the duplicate charge but even that wasn’t enough prove to them that it existed nor enough to motivate them to investigate further and they left it at that – TWO Charges and ONE Refund from Capriotti’s on my card. WTH ?!

Hands down the worst cheesesteak I have ever had. I went against my better judgement and ordered from this location and I learned a costly lesson. I paid $26 plus tip to get this garbage. I ordered a large cheesecake extra cheese with crispy fried onions and its the saddest thing I have ever tasted. I usually go to the location on Stanford in sparks and hands down the best cheesesteak I have ever had. I dont understand how you could take somebody’s money knowing you are giving them this garbage. Every piece of meat was burnt and the whole sandwich tasted like burnt meat in bread. Super disappointed. I tried to get half of it down and just got more upset every bite I took. Can’t make this up. Here is a picture just because I feel so robbed. I have also attached a picture of what its supposed to look like. I’m genuinely upset.

Outstanding service! Got a turkey sandwich and turkey was too dry for my liking. Husband got classic club and he enjoyed it. Only one bathroom was available of the two and it needed attention, no TP.

Kyle was our cashier/preparer & he was great! He was patient taking our order & explaining a special order we wanted. Our order was made quickly & tasted delicious. The restaurant was clean & well maintained. Definitely rank Capriottis as the #1 sub shop & this one was awesome!

Definitely worth a visit! The food is always good and made correctly. I’ve tried 3 different sandwiches here and all of them were really good. The service is always fast and the food is fulfilling. The meat always tastes fresh and the bread is always soft. This location is the best thus far! As far as atmosphere, they could use an upgrade and parking is terrible. But once you taste the food the atmosphere definitely changes.

they will take delivery orders through doordash in a well known scam. they will accept pick up orders knowing people expect delivery. so if youre unable to leave your bed due to idk maybe youre dying, you get no refund and no food. cant wait til i finally die so i dont have to deal with you people anymore. why in the world would anyone pay extra just to order through the doordash app and not get delivery? its an active scam, doordash gets their fee and the store gets the money and doesnt have to use the resources but still get paid. i called so the store would deny it and they refused saying “we just wont cook it, Good luck.”

I have to say, for a chain franchise joint, this store is one of the best. I had an issue last night where I was given the wrong item, I called and they were able to fix the issue and because I was already at work, and couldn’t make it back in, they took my info (The cashier a young lady, very spunkyand very nice apologized like crazy and remembered me from last night and gave me a big wave as I walked in)
The manager called me today to give me a refund, and I’ll I asked for was a new sandwich. They had no issue and apologized for the mistake.
I went in tonight to get my dinner for work (I work in a hospital) and they were still awesome. They have a new fan.

Excellent sandwich. Ordered a bacon cheese steak with mushrooms added. Type of sandwich you eat slow because it tastes so good. Their food is made with love. Clean facility with great customer service. Would post a photo but I don’t see an option on here for it.
